Phalanx +5 Valorous Body. First +5 on my own account since I started. Feels good.

I got my first phalanx+5 DM augment today ever, on any character. Previously, I've only gotten 3 Phalanx+4's (and 2 were on Chironic pieces, 1 was a Valorous head).
 Meanwhile, the character I wanted an Refresh+2 on, I actually got!  Apologies for the different resolutions, but at least it's not a cell phone pic, right? :)

For anybody curious I kept track of around 1348 DM trades to Oseem.
These are the Phalanx+ augs I saw on Herc gear: 1x Phalanx+4 6x Phalanx+3 2x Phalanx+2 1x Phalanx+1 Not sure if this can be useful for anybody, but these are my numbers so far! [45 days between previous and next post]I got a macc+50 and Mab+20 once.
Ive spent almost 1.5billion gil on dark matter in 4 months. Only noteworthy augments have been a phalanx+5, refresh+2, treasure hunter +2, cure potency +10%, quad attack +3%. After all that spending I can say for certain the augments are skewed towards pet jobs. Im ready to spend another 2 billion for statistics if anyone wants. I'm not going to write anything down on an excel sheet though. But I can stream it. This is probably the highest WSD/mab I got

I have yet to see a Phalanx +5 on any piece. Its the only augment I've been trying to get for quite some time.

Also have not seen above phalanx+4 in years of doing dark matter augments in campaigns. And that +4 was on a pair of chironic hands >.>
Osseem can suck it really. SimonSes, i've noticed Herc gear seems to have a higher rate of phalanx +5 augs also, could also be sheer luck but seeing you have more herc +5's than other gear considering the massive dark matter aug pool required to get that amount of +5's, and I do also, maybe there's something in it.
I've been trying to 5/5 Phalanx +5 augs on my merlinic set and I've probably done 10 times the amount of attempts vs the amount it took me to 5/5 my herc set, and I'm still only at 2/5 Phalanx +5's on my merlinic so far, although at least my other 3 are still +4's. Might still just be the RNG of it all, but was interesting to see you have so many herc +5's too.

I just now was augmenting my Odyssean Greaves hoping for some extra fast cast for my PLD fc set.
Then here comes block+5. Ow well, the lack of extra defensive stats made me defer the offer. Next Phalanx+5. Ow well, souvera already gives me +5. Next Block+5 again. Seriously? |
