My opinions are just that. I just think it's a shame that the internet will be mourning the loss of "Snape," and not the actor himself. Just reporting what I've already seen from countless sources. It's a major loss for the artistic community and I think the way it's being reported does the actor's memory a disservice is all.

Perhaps I'm superimposing too much of my own feelings on the series in this case, but he's not the first I've said this about in a grand sense either, so, apologies. Sorry. I'm having a bad morning, just saw this news and got assaulted with the HP references in regard to it. Either way, RIP Mr. Rickman. Your presence was immediately recognizable, unique, and will be missed.

Average life expectancy in the UK for a man is 79 years, so he went a bit early, cancer will do that though, hell my Grandma lived till 84 and she smoked like a chimney since she was 13.
