Does someone could give me an example of a macro configuration scholar working under gearswap?

What? If you're using gearswap, your macros are pretty basic and gearswap does the rest.

i have macros for job abilities (arts/stratagems) and skillchains/helixes but pretty much every other spell i type out. most of them i setup shortcuts so that i can cast them more easily, i.e. i set the entirely line of blizzard spells to be just "b" so i can type //b5 and cast blizzard 5

My macros are kinda simple.

It looks like this:
CTRL1: All light arts abilities
Alt1: All Dark arts abilities

CTRL2:Cures/regen/haste/refresh/ect & Myrkr/convert/sublimation
Alt2: -nas/erase/raise/RR

CTRL3: Weathers
Alt3: Debuffs

Ctrl4 Helixes
Alt4: T5 nukes & level 2 SC (Fusion/frag/distortion/gravitation)

Alt5:T4 Nukes and level 1 SC (Induration/compression)

Wait you guys don't just use Voice Control? Weak Sauce.

It's where you tell the computer "Fudo Now!" or "Cure position 2".

Basically it allows you to scream and shout at your PC.

That would weird out my roommate hardcore, also my pc would get confused because sometimes I swear a lot while playing whm o_o

How do you set all if that do a single key.
My macros are ctrl 1 cure 3. ctrl 2 cure 4. If you can set multiple to one key that would be awesome.

You could write out multiple cures in the same macro ascending or descending and it will cast the highest tier not on a recast timer. So if you did

Line 1: /ma cure iv stpc
Line 2: /ma cure iii stpc
Etc.

It will try to cast cure iv first, and if it isn't up it will try to cast cure iii, and so on.

With cures being at the top of the spell list, you're probably better off not trying to cycle through macros to cast cures, especially if you're using GS. if your cure macros are on alt1 and you're on page 5 or something, cycling all the way up or down is almost always going to be slower than hitting enter twice to open/select a cure spell from the spell list.

I think they mean ctrl1 = 1 entire ctrl macro line
