Far East Puffer

where do you fish this Far East Puffer and what bait does anyonoe?

Far East Puffers are fished in the dark vortexes that spawn at certain time periods. From 0:00-4:00 there's a vortex that spawns at the Mosquito Pond. Another vortex spawns at the east river from 16:00-21:00.

I personally just walk to both locations from portal 6, but I'm sure there's an easier way to get around to them.

Fly Lure targets the puffers specifically.

so the subligar you get from them, once you craft it its r/ex....so you have to have smithing 80+? or is their a synergy version? just wondering, im not actively playing but wanna get one when i get back

Apparently the subligar isnt that great. Some of the jobs on it can use the easier to obtain herculean set, which can get +10% waltz pot per piece augments. The blink seems to be a single shadow that last for 30 seconds. The fish has decent stamina even with 105+7 fishing and penguin ring they were kind of annoying to catch at the orbs. With decent stamina and moderate switching direction speed, some were fast some barely were caught. Out of 9 fish i got 2 subligars. Smithing isnt my main but i tried to synth with 70+3 enhancement +2 torque and broke them. Couldnt find a combination that worked for synergy either, with a 110 smither in pt.

from 5-12(?) im pretty sure it was 12, theres an orb under the bridge right beside warp#2 if you fish off the left side you'll fish into it, its pretty invisible unless you look down onto it.

ok i checked my map, i was unable to view it from #9, i marked it down as 6-11, so its that.

E-10 bridge off the west side from 6:00-11:00.
