Repeating it doesn't magically endow your crap with truth.

Once again you lose sight of the actual argument in favor of lazy false equivalence. Both Trump and Clinton are allowed to disagree with these people. Having a child killed in the service of the country doesn't preempt you from being wrong. It's how you go about disagreeing in a way that doesn't minimize the other party. Nothing Clinton said was disrespectful, but since Trump can't keep his ego in check, Clinton's comments now have to be spun into being just as bad.

He complained anew that he had been "viciously attacked" by the parents of a Muslim U.S. Army captain who was killed in Iraq.

Arizona Sen. John McCain, a former prisoner of war, led the charge, saying Trump did not have "unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us." The Veterans of Foreign Wars, the nation's oldest and largest veterans organization, called Trump out of bounds for tangling with Khizr and Ghazala Khan, whose son was killed in 2004.
