So Trump may abandon automatic protection of fellow NATO members if he becomes President, just another reason for me to think he's a nutjob then.

How the *** has a situation arisen were Hillary Clinton is the sensible choice in the Presidential election?

It looks like Cruz has lost a number of donors and other supporters. As expected, however, Glenn Beck cannot contain his jubilation and praise, going full Cruz 2020 mode and practically calling him Reagan incarnate.

Conservative or not, fanboys get on my nerves....

I have so many criticisms of the Reagan administration.

Yet, they'd be infinitely preferable to Cruz. -.-;

INCLUDING THE ACTUAL CRIMES.

So never let it be said that I, theoretically at least, am willing to only forgive egregious criminal activity on only ONE side of the political spectrum for the good of the country.

right cause politicians keep their word, totally forgot!

Trump blamed Cruz's dad for the JFK assassination, humiliated his wife and called him a liar over and over. What exactly did they expect him to say after all of that?

Not like Ted is the only one, the bush family clearly isn't there and are also saying vote your conscience, Mitt Romney has voiced his opinion crystal clear, it's Kasisch's state, and he's not even there.
The list goes on and on.

Trying to say the GOP isn't divided is like saying Melania Trump is a great speech writer.

So this still ^

Hundreds of millions of Americans are going to be shocked when I enter into the arena.

You'll probably get arrested for trespassing, be careful.

LG's going to be shocked when he thinks he's entering the political arena and it turns out we put him in a modern-day Coliseum with a pack of hungry wolvestigers (I don't feed my friends rubbish, give him to the cats instead) as an opening act on an off-day at the fights.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sting repelled from the rafters, or Krusty the clown the was a real person and came out. I wouldn't be surprised if they dressed up another black person to give a sob speech about Hillary murdering their families like Rambo, it wouldn't surprise me if Voltron showed up accompanied by Pikachu (pikachu also wouldn't endorse)

I'm sure tonight will be a circus like the previous nights, where drunk rednecks chant USA and can't recite more then 2 amendments.

Well at least they'll have a hard time making campaign season any longer now.

Good, we can stop pretending politicians do anything and we can focus on what's important: divisive campaign rhetoric every day of every year.

The sad part is that his speech really wasn't that bad, but when you try to dance around the elephant in the room, nobody cares what you have to say anymore.

When I mentioned elephants in a politics thread, I wasn't actually expecting ads that mention polls and feature elephants.

Which leads to the question of why even go. The conventions are all about a coronation, so if you aren't going to endorse the nominee, why go? Have the good sense to stay home like Kasich, Jeb, McCain, Paul, etc. Why bring so much resentment down on yourself and potentially damage your political career. Ted Cruz, the Divider.

It was a political gamble. We won't kow how it plays out for 3 years.
