I just kept him full time berserked as Blast Punch cant kill. Though, I said goodbye for my damage taken medals, but not that I care with them.

Yeah I had no problem with this strategy.

Looks like there's going to be a MCII I won't be able to get in the V event that's ending. Still haven't cleared ExDeath...

There is still some time. Put those mythrils to refresh. There is no reward more important than Memory Cristals. And Lenna is a great white mage. Everything she cast (buff and debuff) last forever.

It's more of the issue of that I can't beat Exdeath.

Its some road till Antlion but I wouldnt give up.

Ex Death elite is vulnerable to slow. Put some mitigation and he should be no problem.

Just finished Ultimate Lady Yunalesca. She's a walk in the park compared to Ultimate Exdeath.

Yunalesca seems....possible. Holy does a lot of damage and I was having trouble keeping up. I might have to bring Shellga even though she dispels it on hit. Not sure what else I can do since Magic BD doesn't work on her.

Like it or not, Yunalesca ultimate is a battle designed for retaliate+draw fire to redirect the dispeling hits and prevent them.

Though when I fought Yunalesca, all she did was Osmose, osmose, osmose, osmose....

Screw that noise. Maybe I can try some sort of Magic Lure setup although then beating out the timer on Ultimate Death might be an issue.

I didn't mind the draw+reta strategy, heck I used it. Some players are complaining, but I'm not one of them. I much rather prefer reta meta versus S/L 100x.

I definitely don't want another Omega or Soulcage.

I used full time advance and retaliate for everything till Ex Death.

Because I believe that combo is the strongest if one can bring some copies of double cuts.

But after VoM banners, due to some very Nice pulls (Bartz Brave Blade, Lennas staff and Wakkas All Rounder), plus Stormlance Grimoire, I decided to change a bit my strategy to use powered (with advance or Steal Power) multi hits SB.

Ive been using that since then, and its Nice seeing big Numbers. Just sucks SB bar charges só slowly. I cant wait to get my hands in Lifesiphon, or to get even more stronger SB.

I see Retaliate is a cheesy boring strategy that for some reason DeNA just keep catering to by making fights that are trivial with it. Many people see it the same way, and are so happy when they finally have the hones to stop using it.

Well I hope you like Retaliate enough to use it for the Edge+Rosa event, because the boss rush and +++ battles pretty much demand it.

Hard not to use Advantaliate when they keep throwing *** like this at us.

That's my problem, they make fights that really force that strategy. I had managed to evade it completely until that one +++ fight with the guy that hit 4x in a row, that was honestly ridiculous. Maybe it'll change once BSSBs and ***come out, I don't know the JP meta.

Managed to beat Yunalesca with a balanced team.

Yuna Boost/Curaja
Lulu Firaja/Waterja
Squall Firaga Strike/Thundaga Strike
Rinoa Blizzaja/Thundaja
Wakka Power Breakdown/Armor Breakdown

Wakka at level 80 actually did a ton of damage on this fight, saw multiple 8k+ hits. Only used one cutting trigger on Squall which did like 8k a hit with Boost+Armor BD+Status Reels. I actually completely ran out of abilities on the final round because of low hones.

Also I saw a video of a guy doing it with broken relics like Boon, Medica II, Slice and Dice, and Stoneskin II he didn't even use. He messed up multiple times and even took things like Magic Break which do nothing that fight, but still breezed through it since broken relics.

MRW Exdeath kept spamming Vaccum Wave, full party -gas like a ***.

As a random aside, I think it's time to invest in Curaja on my part. Curaga isn't potent enough to do the job on my highest level healers especially when targets are getting for 50% of their bar before mitigation goes up.

Yeah I did Curaja once the level cap was raised to 80. Curaga was enough to full heal basically anything at 65 but since the HP jump is so high from 65 to 80 it starts to require Curaja. Some of my characters have 6k~ HP now.

Does it not help with Holy?

Holy uses MND, MBreakdown lowers MAG. Your only defense is to boost RES in this case.

It's why Holy Dragon was such a POS.

However Shellga does work, but the catch is that it gets dispeled by auto attacks. Honestly my strategy was "Hope that I didn't get holy'd back to back" because Holy does so much damage in that fight and she holy's faster than you can cure without haste. Magic Lure would be pretty great if you could meet the DPS conditions with a tank, or you want to use retaliate obviously. If you are overgeared the DPS condition is not a hard one, that guy I was talking about used 2 healers and still easily made it because Boon+two SSB melee.

You need to either create Curaja or use realm synergy staves and whm.
