2nd slot p much doesnt matter. nothing will survive all of your life siphons + 3 shadow SSBs with the rest of the party also DPSing
So far this is the team I'm running. Any suggestions?
Shadow- lifesiphon/dismissal- SSB Y'shtola- cure healing stuff - SSII Tyro- lifesiphon/whatever needed - SLG or SG Gilgamesh- Saints Cross/Banishing Strike -SB Ramza- Full Break+ break - shout Mmm, ++ Sundaily giving 174k+ EXP is NOICE!!

Hmmm i seem to be getting a lot less eggs to drops in ++ than in + maybe just having a bad day?
I casually started the game and was like, "Hmm I should save my mythril for the BSSB event and not use them on FFVI. Oh what the hell I'll drop $1 on it."

Incredibly happy dance, I just cleared the FFVI event with full mastery :D
Winning team was: Pld Cecil, lv 70, Banishing Blade 6/Saint's Cross 2, Saint's Fall SB Garnet, lv 74, Diara 10/Curaise 6, Divine Guardian Tifa, lv 80, Tempo Flurry 8/Lifesiphon 6, Dolphin Blow Yuna, lv 66, Curaja 8/Shellga 4, Hymn of the Fayth Ramza, lv 69, Magic Breakdown 4/Lifesiphon 6, Shout. Used SS2 RW, took about ten s/ls but I finally did it. Also, Shout is my RW if anyone needs. I can also change to HotE, MG, DG, HotF, or War Dance as needed. Looking at the SB multipliers I have. Lightning or Balthier would be my best bet. Not sure which one to use? Or Rinoa? use both lightning and balthier depending on realm. multihit SBs (they dont have to be SSB or BSB) > single target ones when you have attack buffs as they break the 9999 damage cap by virtue of hitting many times. if you have synergy for
both lightning and balthier are strong characters with access to powerful skillsets and both of them can life siphon. balthier is probably the better of the two for neutral realms if you have synergy for him. I used Lightning instead of Tyro on a 122 difficulty elite and she was doing 3x 9999dmg each time with Shout. The whole boss stage went by super quick. Wondering why Balthier is better? He has machinist access. But he also has lower attack than lightning. They both can use swords,guns, spears, daggers. Balthier's SB is 10 hits, Lightning's is 3. With sufficient buffs and debuffs, Element of Treachery has a higher damage potential than Blaze rush, and at its maximum it deals over three times as much damage (you'll never hit this on anything that matter though with a .51 mult). It also comes with the benefit of making him immune to 2 physical attacks after use, but thats not always useful.
basically, if you're capping on damage with blaze rush odds are you could be doing more damage with element of treachery.

Coul do a 3x pull, is the Valiant knife on Relm 1 or Relm 2? Or both?

I'm actually considering trying to go without native SG and just rw HoTE and using Red (have his SSB) for the extra multihits.
reds SSB is so broken (phys dmg 10hits) with both shout and HotE, I have agrias sb and fb along with breakdowns for dmg mitagation, I think it should be enough. Might have to do some testing with it. Tyro even with Curaja struggles healing the party since he has Mako Might equipped. The bosses go down so quick. My problem is that there aren't enough HoTE RW when looking on the strategy forums.

what RM do people use on their Healer? I am stuck using Penello for native Medica, but she is a bit lacking. =/
Free full break dance this event? hell yes! gonna throw that on my Tyro or Lenna. I bet that ultimate is gonna be hard -.-
Zack is weaker than Cloud right? I have Buster Sword (CC) but not sure if he's worth having in my group. don't forget, our first U+ event is this event. I personally cannot wait, although i hear the U fight in this event is actually harder than U+ D:
