Has anyone gotten anything from him recently? I've tried dozens of Lik, Gugrusaurus, and Bhefhel Marlin but nothing so far.
Got a Shaper's Shawl for a mule a few months ago. Try trading some Cave Cherax, they're generous for Matsya bait.
Doubt anything's wrong. Just bad luck. Anything recent as of March?

[227 days between previous and next post]New Zaldon fish is Far East Puffer. It can only be fished up in the darkness bubbles in Reisenjima. The only two I have found is the 16:00 from 21:00 bubble at east river and 21:00 to 4:00 bubble at mosquito pond.
I've traded like 10+ fish and nothing from Zaldon yet. Lure: fly lure since it is a newer version of Takitaro. I haven't gotten any line breaks yet.

If they are connected, I would assume there may be a subquest where a NPC would restore it. Only things that come to mind though are Goblins, Brygid, and the Inventor's Coalition.
I noticed it said in the update "new items" had been added, so I guess that means there are more maybe? I wonder if another item could be had from Far East Puffer?
Seeing that there was no new quests added apart from veg veg fustration and Rowing Together(Mog Garden). It's probably another item on that fish.
