I've tried on several occassions. You should be familiar with the results. Ridicule has become more productive.

Perhaps, perhaps, Altima's and Saevel's musings on climate change are ridiculous. That could be an explanation. Then argue about it.
You know, tell them how/why they are wrong.
Instead of doing nothing but trolling, like you usually do.
See, eslim brings more to the argument than you do!
You can not convince a religious person that their belief is incorrect using rational discourse or logic. Cause and consequence has been disconnected and they believe what they believe because they want to believe it. This is why practically every argument goes in circles on here, the progressives demand fealty and submission to their religion and there is no tolerance for a dissenting view. It's the modern equivalent of walking into a 16th century cathedral and trying to argue that God doesn't exist with a priest. If your lucky you'll just get dismissed as crazy (we feel God must exists therefor God exists), at worst you'll be tortured until you give a written confession claiming you were possessed by the devil and used as a warning to others who dare challenge the accepted belief system.
It's a very interesting, and human, thought system. The reason true believers won't even entertain the thought that they could be wrong is that to do so would require them accepting that they might not be the hero of their own story. That if their belief is wrong, then everything else connected to that belief is also wrong. That core component of their identity, the team colors their paint themselves with and identify with is so critical to their ego that it will defend any external attacks on it. They are right because the consequences of being wrong are unthinkable.

AGW has plenty of blind followers and hypothesizing, but it's not a religion.
Climate science is... well, Science. Which is literally the opposite of a religion.

Religion and Routine mean the same thing actually and have nothing to do with faith in GOD.
Routine/Religion=performed as part of a regular procedure.
Scientific studies are very religious in their routine of procedures.

Think I saw something like that said in a cracked.com video.
Anyways, to change the left's mindset on global warming, all that is required is for the majority of climate scientist to agree that global warming isn't happening. Scientist used to believe all kinds of stuff that they no longer hold true, so if enough evidence is brought forth to show that the claims to global warming are false, it will be dismissed.
And there has not been.
And no, one person here and another person there doesn't count. There are at least a few scientist around who believe the Earth is 6000 years old and is proud of it. You would think they'd know better.
The real problem why we can't agree is that it has become a partisan issue. The right has convinced itself that there's a massive, global conspiracy, that it's all fake so climatologist can get grant money. They point to the billion dollar clean energy industry as fueling the push for AGW while conveniently ignoring the hundred billion dollar industry pushing back against it. There's not a single conservative on this site who has yet acknowledge this fact.

No, religion is a defined set of beliefs in the nature and origin of existence.
Science is a methodology for determining the nature and origin of existence.
One is a belief without evidence, the other is a conclusion based on evidence. Polar opposites.

BUZZ!! Wrong again, sir.
Religion
Quote: a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe
Faith
Quote: confidence or trust in a person or thing
Both of which are diametrically opposed to Science. If you have a point, it'd be best to get to it, because we're in an Altima thread and we're having "letz lern inglush" on page 2.

Both of which are quite similar to Climate Science.

It's not surprising with you grasp of the subject, but climate science is not AGW, it's the scientific study of short and long term weather conditions.
AGW is to climate science as a window herb garden is to commercial farming, bud.

AGW is one theory within the sphere of rapid global climate change, which is one aspect of climate science on Earth, which is only part of climate science. It's an incredibly small portion of a very large field.
Discuss the topic: you found a handful of scientists who.......

On topic: The earth is getting hotter due to natural weather cycles that started the temp increase around the year 1800. I don't have the link and tbh I'm too lazy to look it up right now.
I didn't base this info on a routine/religion. Do not drag my faith into this. I have no faith in the internet where this "fact" came from. So it's prolly BS just like all this other science that changes its "facts" more often than the wind changes the directions of a leaf caught up in its draft and is therefor unreliable.

Does anyone else find it absolutely hilarious that religious people call science a religion as a means to discredit it?
Sidenote for all the people who are unclear, THAT is called hypocrisy.

On topic: The earth is getting hotter due to natural weather cycles that started the temp increase around the year 1800.... I read something this week, I think in Scientific American, which said that our natural climate cycles should have us in a cooling phase.
I will post it later.

A Wacky Jet Stream Is Making Our Weather Severe
Been awhile.. I'm bored and its cold outside.. Sooooo here we go!
http://www.climatedepot.com/2015/01/16/scientists-balk-at-hottest-year-claims-we-are-arguing-over-the-significance-of-hundredths-of-a-degree-the-pause-continues/
Quote: No Record Temperatures According To Satellites
Physicist Dr. Lubos Motl: ‘Please laugh out loud when someone will be telling you that it was the warmest year’
Climatologist Dr. Roger Pielke Sr.: 'We have found a significant warm bias. Thus, the reported global average surface temperature anomaly is also too warm.'
Climatologist Dr. Judith Curry: 'With 2014 essentially tied with 2005 and 2010 for hottest year, this implies that there has been essentially no trend in warming over the past decade.'
My Favorite.
Quote: Nobel Prize-Winning Physicist Dr. Ivar Giaever, declared his dissent on global warming and noted that the temperature rise over the 20th century was “so little. It is not even fever.” Giaever won a Nobel Prize for physics.
“.8 degrees we will be discussing in global warming. .8 degrees if you ask people in general they will think it is 4 or 5 degrees they don’t know it is so little. It is not even fever,” Giaever said.
“I am amazed that the temperature can be so stable,” Giaever explained. ‘The temperature (of the Earth) has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this ‘warming’ period.’
“I don’t see that co2 is the cause of all this problem,” he added.
