So I read the OP and I think to myself "hm, why not, I can help this guy". Then I continue to read the next few posts. That sure killed my wish to help really really fast. Dear OP: you would have given a much better impression of yourself had you ignored the very first reply to your post. It's kind of like what I tell my daughter when her older brother is teasing her; don't take the bait! He could have made a better impression on the reply to the first post. Like:
I'm not really high-maintenance. or I'll try not to be a bother to people. He did his own damage. He won't admit it, but nobody else hurt his image more than he did. Actually, he could have simply left the post he made after it, and stopped, oh, I dunno, one paragraph sooner?
He openly admitted to being high-maintenance, which is fine. He could have built on that to show he was a cool friendly guy. Instead, he chose to personally attack someone for it. Another route, was that while being high-maintenance, was that it meant he had high standards, or needs to be met. Various routes were ignored, under the assumption it was "trash talk", and immediately responded with something rather volatile in it's place.
