It's not Primal Drill, but Sinker drill, which comes from Acroliths.

I'd be happy if they gave a side-grade Cure V to Scholar and Red Mage. A Cure V potent cure with the same hate calculations as Cure IV. This would ***-block you from spamming it in a situation where you're just there for healing, but would still give them the opportunity to do it.

Then again, SE clearly doesn't want Red Mage to be able to tank anymore, so that may never happen.

Also, I want Restoral on Blue Mage! Self-target only Cure for like 1k+ plox.

Caitsith.Mahayaya said: »
I still want:

Restoral - Cure V self target only (our first cure was pollen, let's make our last cure self-only too).

Mighty Gaurd - Protect and Shell, at least IV level.

All you doubters...

I love it. Depending on the MP cost/SC relation on sinker drill, looks to be another good spell we get from a monster we got nothing from in the past.

Rail Cannon is also from Gears (Restoral), and judging from the recast, it looks like its going to be a really strong Laser! Very excited to try this stuff out.

I'm not completely sure if they are paying attention to this particular thread (or other BLU cries), but they are certainly giving BLUs spells that were apparently missed, overlooked and forgotten from the past, as well as a few from the current. And I couldn't be happier.

I wonder how the damage from Sinker Drill will be, and if this can SC light.

75 seconds recast sucks, I hope it's good damage with EF+CA.

Also, isn't Uproot supposed to be Earth damage, not Light?

My guess is that it's Restoral from Gears and Rail Cannon from Gear. Kind of like the different types of Trolls and Mamools would give different spells based on their type.

Good eye Mahayaya. That's cool they didn't skip the triple Gears and gave us spells from both. I hadn't even thought that one through.

The maximum accuracy of one-handed weapons equipped as the main weapon will be increased from 95% to 99%.

What does that mean? Just one handed weapons getting boost to new accuracy cap or is this a translation problem?

Another AoE drain spell? That one interests me, (sweeping gouge looks cool too). What's atramentous libations from anyway? Is that from dullahans?

It looks like one handed weapons get an accuracy cap increase. Insert threads of mostly bandwagon SAMs bitching that they can't get an accuracy cap increase. I like this, wonder if it'll apply to casting physical spells when you're at 99% accuracy cap with your main hand weapon.

Yeah, the AoE drain is the only one that really interests me all that much, though I'm sure Gouge will be nice. Our nukes are pretty much all the same, so unless these are really low set point costs, they'll probably be worthless in comparison to Subduction due to the posted recast times.

If the AoE drain gives a good job trait, or is reasonable on set points, and fast to cast, it may be somewhat useful. I'm worried they will make it 5+ set points though and ruin it.

Tbh, if you need to heal badly then Restoral will cost the same set points (almost guaranteed that all new spells will be 5-6) and will likely be more potent when fighting single/lessthanthree targets. Otherwise there's Sanguine Blade or Bloodrake.

As for the acc cap working for spells, no. It only works for main hand, so no blue magic or sub (was confirmed in JP dev tracker)

The description on Sweeping Gouge was changed:
