Doesn't mean gamers are bad. The fundamentals are a means of entertainment. That is why I tend to not play FPS games because the overly aggressive must win attitude. The gamers in COD etc give other gamers a bad name.
I do enjoy being on a team trying to beat an objective. So I'm not totally against FPS type of games. More reasonable environmentalists recognize and accept the desire for daily hygiene. I mean I feel pretty grimey if I dont shower for a day and don't do anything for that day. If I go out and get dirty, I feel absolutely disgusting after 24 hours of no shower.
