It's my opinion that if the God of the Old Testament were real he would have, in fact, burned a lot of these "churches" himself. He was a spiteful mother *** when you didn't listen to him...then he turns around, sends his son to give everyone easier rules to follow, and people still don't *** get it?

Hey. Maybe he is.

Maybe God IS sending these arsonists and murderers to do his good work.

I'm sure someone out there is psychotic enough that they believe this to be the case right now.

Obama the Transparent, lol.
Obama has issued 19 secret directives

I'm not a fan of many of the PPD's that have been leaked recently or secret laws that have no judicial oversight, but what exactly are you critizing here?

The law governing this goes back to the 1940's and every president has used it to some extent.
The American people can quickly jump on a trend to remove a flag, but do not care about secret laws and even embrace them. (with no judicial oversight as you pointed out)

You don't get it that flag is responsible for killing 9 black people ! It's wrong It's wrong !

Can bicker about the cause and effect later; currently wishing everyone on site safety and that the shooter is apprehended (and/or eliminated) with no innocents harmed, though sadly it never seems to go that way. =(

I wish they'd go back to using stuff they don't come up with themselves. Like how Scathe Zombies, Will-o'-the-Wisp, and Wall of Ice had quotes from the Rime of the Ancient Mariner on them.

For some cards there's things that just scream to be put on them. For the vast majority of the cards, though, the people who work for Wizards are not Keats, Byron, Coleridge, Omar Khayyam, Ovid, et al., but the works of those great minds are all public domain.

Why reinvent the wheel? Especially in such a thing as description. This isn't, say, programming, or outdoorsmanship, where there can be practical application, and satisfaction, out of reinventing the wheel. This is goddamn poetry. There's so much out there to use that is both free and better than anything anyone else is likely to come up with.

"He raged at the world, at his family, at his life. But mostly he just raged" is a notable exception.

While I agree with you to a point, modern authors of prose and elegant language don't get a lot of work. I don't feel like it's reinventing the wheel to let people use their creative talents where they may to earn a living.

I know lots of folks feel that business, STEM, and trade fields are the only valid fields anymore, but I think there's plenty of room for the arts and humanities without simply rehashing the same things over and over.

I was always critical of my high school curriculum for not including enough modern literature. Most of my teachers never quite knew how to respond to that.

Yeah...

I stopped playing regularly around Ice Age. Though I kept buying cards for a while just because I always loved the art and stuff on them. And, somewhat oddly, the smell.

M:TG cards always had a distinct smell.

Apparently the Greek government may resign if people vote 'yes' to more loans and austerity.

That's funny I didn't think they worked to begin with !

In my mind Greece hasn't changed since the days of Plato and Socrates. They just roam the countryside ask. What is beauty ? What is art ? etc

Are you saying Greece is still a hotbed of child buggery?

That's borderline libel!
