Bartender! I'll have what he's having.

Be careful, facts can be intoxicating.

Facts? All you did was declare she did nothing illegal while completely ignoring the laws she broke.

smh

You cited a regulation that excludes electronic mail and directs to NARA's guidelines which specifically exclude what she did.

You are claiming she did something illegal, but the only thing you've provided is something that says it wasn't illegal. Back up your claims.

The only problem I see with Hillary's e-mail situation is that what has been turned over so far clearly is not complete. It will take subpoenas and a fair amount of time to finally get everything handed over. Well, you know, everything that hasn't been destroyed already, of course.

I don't know if they have the right to subpoena them, as she isn't legally compelled to share them. Either way, I'd rather she turned nothing over out of principal than picking and choosing what she turned over.

Aman has never been able to back up his claims, he will type an unsourced sentence and just expect everyone to take his word for it.

Read th fk'n thing already. You are stating the exact opposite of what the regulations are.

Feel free to post the laws she broke, as you have yet to do that.
5 U.S. Code § 552a, as enacted by the Federal Records Act of 1950, amended to include electronic records in 1986.

I'm sure you are going to ignore that little tidbit. But hey, she did commit a felony. I guess she will get a pass.

You are going about it all wrong.

I'm surprised that nobody bothered to mention the Federal Records Act at all. Since it requires agencies (and heads of agencies) to maintain all records of government business in a public database unless deemed classified for security purposes.

Which she shouldn't have the ability to claim (she may have security clearance, but not the ability to create secret or above documents).

Yeah, the whole cherry picking thing is going to cause her more troubles than anything else. I know people like to say that Benghazi isn't a scandal, but when 50,000 emails get handed over by Hillary and not even one mentions Benghazi, it's going to look suspicious and it's going to continue to haunt her campaign. A perceived scandal can be just as damaging as a real one, so regardless of where one stands on the issue it must be acknowledged as a problem.

I'll give you guys all night to read over the law. I expect people to admit that she did break it, and give various reasons why she deserves a pass for something anybody with a (R) next to their name would have been convicted already.

In regards to perception versus reality, perception is often more damaging than reality. Whether what is perceived is the truth, fabrication of the truth (truth based lies), outright slander/libel, defamation of character, or other, as it goes through the grapevine, facts, truths, and lies become distorted and bigger than what actually happened.

I don't how anyone can defend what she did. I really don't. If you find yourself defending the illegal actions of a politician because you've been told she is your next President then it's probably time to look inward at wtf is wrong with yourself and what they have done to you.

That's NARA, which SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDES confidential communique. It also states that the head of any agency can alter their reporting policies without notifying.

She didn't break any law by not disclosing the emails. Does 2016 already have all you reactionaries so freaked out?

Is that a joke? You don't think the Secretary of State has the ability to create top secret documents? Pretty much all outgoing correspondence from the State Dept. is going to be classified. The public is not entitled to see the conversations between foreign leaders. This is exactly why no one is mentioning the Federal Records Act.

It's not mentioned whether her personal emails ever included communication about it and they haven't disclosed what extent her official email was used, either. But, yes, all these perceived scandals have had their intended result; making anyone associated with Obama look bad to uneducated and uninformed people.

Yes, you have still failed to show she broke a law. Feel free to post the actual law that she broke at anytime. The law that KN posted was wrong, so, try again.

Right on cue, falsely claims to have done it, says he won't do it again, so he remains holding absolutely nothing. Classic Aman. Still no evidence presented by anyone that Hillary broke any laws. Of course, it isn't going to happen, considering if evidence existed, it would have been presented already by some Republican in Congress.
