Hey if you had as much money as Romney who the hell would spend time with commoners ? I sure as hell wouldn't.
It was the commoners that obsessed over his money.
All politicians are rich and they act like Romney was the first one...
Until all the people they represent or at least the majority are rich, that won't slide with anyone it has to be justified. And it's a disease really only rich people making laws or leading the execution of such laws, sure that won't turn out bad at all. Since that would go against the definition of being rich that won't happen and anyone who is rich that runs has to show they're connected and give two shits about the majority of people they run for. Only bat ***insane or brainwashed people will elect people that don't even represent their interests and care about their problems.
Very well said, and i echo the same in saying the only way we will see common sense representation is if we take political campaign funding out of the equation in elected public offices. Its the only way in terms of making free and fair elections.
Political parties represent in this order
1. there party hierarchy 2. special interest funders 3. maybe the american people but anyone could nudge us out there.
Otherwise you got massive special interest funding buying a seat of office. In President Obama winning campaigns he raised over a billion dollars in one election cycle. It eclipses previous elections and you only got to see those who paid well on tv and radio. Here is a good video on air time for speaking from Former president reagan

Its a true shame those clapping did not grasp the deeper meaning of his words at saying he was paying for air time, because he was. No where in the constitution does it say you need to have money to want to serve the people of this great nation.
