/nin works fine and is more idiot proof, but earthen armor+scherzo eliminate any threat from WS. 2MNK/WAR without the casting time of shadows is going to do more damage than 3MNK/NIN.

I do not dispute any of this, as the logic is sound and you are absolutely correct. It's more of...you have 30 minutes. If you can't drop the Galka in 30 minutes I'd say the issue stretches beyond the subjob selection.
Unless we're talking divine might, then this point you raise has more merit. Still very do-able with /nin, and narrows the chances of accidents/incidents to a minimum, considering the varied attacks the 5 of them throw at you.

Why not use /nin? GK weaponskills are best mitigated by shadows. Also, easier to go with 3rd MNK instead of SMN. One more person to bounce hate between and one more person to deal damage. best mitigated is a stretch, when you reduce any ws that'd kill you to less damage than a melee hit you don't need shadows
not saying there's anything wrong with /nin, but it's certainly more prone to sudden death if you fail to blink a ws.. /war is just a maintenance game, if your healers can keep up you can't lose(protip: i'm not advocating berserk, /sam might even be better, but shadows cripple dps and they certainly aren't necessary on galka)
bouncing hate becomes irrelevant when death risk disappears, the only way you lose with smn setup is if you can't maintain mp(no gjall or brd and smn being lazy)
still willing to do a run and ss next time i'm on mnks, but hardly seems necessary at this point

Dragonfall doesn't always trigger EA/scherzo and can do a decent amount of damage, followed up with a double attack round could potentially do well over 2k in a short peroid, but its very unlikely.
Using 3 mnk/nin I have cleared the battlefield in 9m47, which includes doing songs after entering. I'm sure 2 mnk/war is perfectly fine but I don't see it being faster than that. We could just use 3 mnk/war but healer is always 2-3 boxed, we also don't bother with ichi since it hurts dps too much.

It might be faster, but again, you have 30 minutes. If you're killing it in under 10, I'd just keep doing what you're comfortable with.

I'd like to see your SS just because I always find alternative strategies interesting to observe. I don't dispute your strategy at all, I'm assuming you're talking about just the GK BC, and not Divine Might II. If you're doing DMII, I'd be even more interested to see SS of setup/drops/etc, since that's all our LS does as an event. We break apart and do the individuals too, but if it's an LS event it's DM all the way baby!

It's not my normal strategy, I primarily use RNGs(I have 119 annihilator on 5 of my own characters and my duo buddy has 4 of them). It's a working strategy that I suggested for someone who asked, as MNKs are much more plentiful than relic rngs or ochain PLDs. I used it before we had the RNGs.
I'm not arguing it's better.

We do the RNG strat too, it's just really effective. I'm noticing people seem to think I'm arguing or disputing their claims, I'm not. I'm certainly not arguing your idea is worse. :P

This is how I know you're a BS artist. Everyone and their cousin knows Manafont is a 2hr ability. How can there be "other" 1hrs, when you haven't established a first one?

Thanks a lot for the feed back, and other people's feed back too.
I'm looking for setup with highest win rate(and include a COR in pt cuz I don't have other useful AA job :D), wasn't worry about getting fastest clear.
I don't too much trouble finding RNG, it's 3~4 song BRD and well geared PLD I have trouble with. I guess 3~4 song BRD is required for VD? And what's the optimal SJ for PLD in VD AA fights?

For VD fights, especially mithra, you'd want a BRD and at least one other source of racc, so either cor or geo.

We generally only use a 2song brd for our VDs with rng strat, usually cor+brd. No issues at all as far as damage output goes.
Judging by how DDs got raped by AoE on normal difficulty i think RNGs and BLMs gonna make a come back....again! That being said might be smoother to try SC+MBs, any thoughts?
