Is anybody getting this same problem?
traded 1 horn and 3 rabbit hides. CS plays black screen music plays for CS still able to talk to LS but its just a black screen...

Thanks angisnu it fixed the problem just had to manual loging and not with windower. TY!

Well, I'm screwed then. When I try to run FFXI normally I get an error message about some Direct X stuff. Don't know how to fix that.

That happened to me yesterday too. But if you gave up and zone out you'd notice that the KIs are in your KI list without viewing the CS. At least I did. XD

The Directx problem is probably due to you updating your graphics card driver at some point

Supposedly clicking on the windowed box on the ffxi config fixes that problem. I've seen a few people mention it and that was the resolution for it.

Well, I have the key items in my inventory at least. I still would have liked to see the cutscene though.

I believe if you had Lua->Enternity it wouldn't properly load the C/S.

Just like the rare occasions of c/s in some storylines, its best to just unload windower in general before trying to trigger the c/s. But it looks like you already solved it so cheers!
