Nah. The Hag. gear totally isn't worth it. It's just a superfluous amount of Magic Attack on most of it.

it's nice gear for abyssea... with MM, Beyond, and Ultimate I'm hitting blizzard V for 11,995 to 12,900 consistantly on normal mobs & other t5 spells for 9,700. I wear 4/5 hagondes minus the hands & each have +12-18 MaB augments. Fortunately, the magian trial staffs deal more damage when equipped. Haven't tested the Voay +1 yet but pretty sure it will do a bit more damage.

its def worth it imo for blm if u get better aug then what current mab gear gives u. and its not only good for blm but all job that can wear it

Well, for body piece. I prefer Seidr Cotehardie for most nukes just for the fact it reduces mp cost a ton & makes many spells free. The loss to INT & MAB hurts, but w/ so much everywhere else... not as much as you'd expect. My head & hands augments suck. 9-12 MAB so I don't wear them yet. This gear is totally worth burning at least a mil in nq's/+1's to get decent augments. At 1m a piece I can't warrant attempting +29 myself though.

Reason I was asking is because I've been so focused on Blu and Thf lately, that I haven't thought about upgrading gear on my blm.

Tojil, blm Meteor, magic weakness phase, 11300 damage.

I've yet to get my waterja/5 pass 10k; /sch with rainstorm. Best was around 9.3k I think. BLM can actually keep up with other DDs during magic weak phase if you pop manafont, but after that, we fall horribly behind.

Speaking of nuking damage, one of my lses really hardcore mages was keeping up with melee in hall of mul on geo. Just a lot of the mobs have magical weakness or certain physical resistances.

My BLM lacks in damage compared to my SCH, 5-6k Blizzard V on blm vs 10-12k on SCH. Gear wise they're almost identical, that may actually be the reason it's lacking, I`ve forgotten how to gear BLM properly since I never use it.
