Some FFXIV Videos I Made..

Hello all, for those not got a taste yet of the new final fantasy , either holding out or waiting for the game to stabilize first, here is a few videos i made of the game, they are mostly quest boss fights or dungen boss fight that i thot are intresting, my youtube channel is starcold1234 here are the videos enjoy:

these bosse create some trouble if u fight them first time usually but with a good healer and tank they not so hard. have a look :

Conjurer lvl30 quest :

My personal take on the game after a few days of playing, if you ignore the daily logon issues the game is excelent. having played recent games like LOL, Dibablo3 ( not WOW tho ) , and in the past dynamsy warriors 2/3. I can see the game has goten a Mixture of elements from these games as well as our good old FFXI. Combined with nice graphics and Sound/music to accompany all of this new game play features, easy to handle quest system, challaning but not too difficult solo class quests are also a big bonus.

However if you have chossen to wait for game to stabilize, you have done the better choice. some players who played through beta testing are 50 now with nothing to do instance with cause they waiting for their friends to logon and level up, there is nothing wrong with waiting for others to test the waters, Persnally I am just happy to explore and level a few classes/jobs for now.

Personally I enjoy the ingame music/sounds more than adding a custom track to a video.

What program do you use to capture videos?

Hauppauge Capture works great, Fraps can work but it lowers your frame rate if your pc is on the lower end.

Since Hauppauge Capture is a box that does the recording it doesn't lower your frame rate, and you get awesome 1080p videos that look like this

but the whole box and everything costs around 150-200$

not to bad I was thinking of fraps which I use to use but only had the trail version which only did 20 sec recording. I got Xtreme for streaming for Twitch just wanted to know what other people used and what would be better for me thanks for the information.

Hauppauge really is worth it if you want to make good videos, it has different audio levels you can adjust for your own microphone and the game. Not only that but the files fraps make are HUGE in comparison of the files of hauppauge.

Haup also works with xbox and ps3-4, though with playstation it requires you to buy different video splitters and whatnot so it's sorta complicated. In the end though it is the better choice and will save you hours of headache dealing with fraps.
