Enhancing / Enfeebling Gear

Although I have 5/5 AF, still am somewhat new to the job, due to a 6 month lay off from the game. Have tried testing enhancing / enfeeb torques and other similar gear in addition to the Geo gear, but have not noticed any difference (by the blind eyeball...). Have searched for, but not found, any guidance whether enh/enf gear would help the Geo. Can anybody confirm that additional gear of this type would not help me brighten up my lampshade???

Neither enfeeb nor enhancing help geomancy magic. Only geo skill does. Also, geomancy can't be resisted.
