Yes, but employers will easily quickly weed out the guys who went to that 25k per credit college compared to the hardworking joe who went to community college. School doenst make the worker, the worker makes the worker. that expensive degree just gets you an interview.
It's called ***.
You can call BS all you want but my dad and step mom have gotten good jobs all there lives largely based on their experiences and/or all the praise their previous employers have had for them and most importantly there hard working nature and not the college they don't have.

Hell they even put my step mom into a position that actually requires some college that she doesn't have while putting her thru those classes when there are other people there with the school and more senoir to her

Also, the biggest number I see in Val's thing is 3mil or so, you can't retire at 23 on 3 mil, My cousin won 4-5mil in a lawsuit and lived only about 20 years, both working. IDK how he pulled off only 20 years, but..
ummmm....it depends on the life style you live.
If you live off of 2000$ a month...you need about 65 years.
65X12=780
780X2000=1,560,000
see?

I think these days living off 2,000 a month is difficult. If you own a home and a car and kids and bills and..

I could just see it being 2k. My dad does't make over a 1000 and we have no credit cards, so I know its possible to live with three people under 1000. =3

Meh only reason I do what I do is alot of kojo's reasons

I don't like people, or coworkers, or bosses, or managers, or supervisors, or customers, or having to rely on anyone else. I hate having had to "Earn" vacation time, my vacation time is whenever i wanna take a damn vacation lol. If i don't feel good i don't wanna call and make BS excuses not to come in, i just don't trade. No commute, no traffic, just you, yourself, and your hampster.

But alot of people are social so they like to work the 9-5. I have nothing but respect for people who do that, it makes the world work =)

(Btw, I know its sooo evil but I've been kinda banking off the gulf incident...)

I think he just meant a degree will most likely get you the interview (at least if you don't have a horrible rep) and in certain fields is a requirement or while not a written requirement more or less is.

Hell my uncle once was telling me how at one point he wouldn't even look at resumes unless they not only had a degree but something higher lvl. Like a masters in something actually useful

No matter how much you make, if you live outside of your means you will crash and burn.

You didn't see above the image how i said those weren't my numbers. Its from a guy called the "Gap" guy who only trades the opening gap of a stock. Its pretty interesting. He only trades like the first 5-20 minutes of the day though, so he doesn't really bank, but an interesting concept indeed.

Last I heard, they shut it off.

If I had the money to get into trading, I probably would, but I don't and I'd probably need some 75 cent sheet of paper saying I can trade.

I dont think anyone LIKES to work 9-5 just for social reasons.. o.0 I've never had a job before but I can't recall one time when someone was like.. I can't WAIT to work an 8 hour shift so I can deal with people. YAY!!! =) I just think its life, and.. working 9-5 is normal. Not really something we enjoy.

If I may ask, howd you get involved in such a business? Just surprised we all are not out there retiring by 23 on millions of dollars.
