Honestly, me too. There are underlying issues and then each little thing has its own reasons so if I try to explain, it just seems like a bunch of excuses.

It's one reason I've kinda been withdrawn on here, whether people notice or not because I still post occasionally. I'm just irritable.

Always couple your League of Legends with a can of Lord Chesterfield to see that your maximum dehydration potential is achieved.

Is this week improved at all for you?
In some ways yes, in a few not really.

The entirety of my last year playing FFXI whilst on Ventrillo for events.

In some ways I still feel bad for bailing on my XI team. Loved the BTL folks.

But it's been so much better for my headspace since I stopped MMO'ing.
Well the nice part was finally being able to talk it out with one of the members.

It's really a mix of me trying too hard to push people while at the same time letting myself get frustrated and not looking at situations from their view. On top of it sometimes I just feel like I'm not being listened to as a leader which just compounds the issue.

I simply want more out of what I'm doing and they're... well some are still learning and others just are not or may not ever be at the level I'm expecting and it's bad for me to push them to be there, especially too quickly.

Nah, but I'm liable to start bitching at someone because they're simply annoying.

Though, the Tebow button, isn't out of the question.

One of the things that's had me stressed, I just got an answer to...

Earlier in the week, my dad got a call from his doctor telling him his blood tests came back and they needed to talk. Just found out he's diabetic. Could be worse, much worse, but this means that I could (and most likely do) have it too.

Type 2 diabetes doesn't work that way. You can be genetically predisposed, but there are significant lifestyle factors.

My mother is Type 1 (aka: juvenile diabetes) and I don't have that, either, for instance. And that's the kind much more likely to be passed on genetically.

Also, if your dad is newly diagnosed there's a chance his DM could be managed through diet and exercise alone, or that even if he needs to be on meds he could get himself back to a point where he can be off them again.

Type 2 Diabetes is shitty, but it's not a life sentence to being on insulin injections the way Type 1 is.

This. Type 1 is the one to be worried about inheriting in most cases. Usually the only "inheritable" part of Type 2 is you can be predisposed to similar eating habits which can lead to the same outcome. It's however still avoidable.

Source: Type 1 runs in my family and I have a few friends with it.

Edit: Honestly I'm worried about it a little myself since it tends to hit females in our family more often then the males. On top of that it likes to skip a generation, so like my grandmother had it, but then my mother was skipped and my sister has it. I've watched my sister struggle with it so much I would hate to put that on a child...

One of my grandmas got diabetes in very old age, but I'm not sure what type it was. I suppose I should inform myself on that.

Likely type 2. Adult onset type 1 does occur, but at that late in the game is highly unlikely.

My mom's aunt had it, as does she.

As she's said, it's not something she'd wish on anyone, but there are far worse conditions people live with too.

That said, I worry about her as she gets older and less active.

There are, honestly the reason it hits her so hard is probably because it's not very helpful to have a condition like Diabetes on top of being incredibly depressive-bipolar. She has gotten a lot better at handling it all now that she has her child but before that it was hard to tell if she was going to actually take care of herself from one day to the next and she ended up in and out of the hospital a lot with diabetic comas.

When you have diabetes type 1 or 2 you need to get a frequent medical pedicure, the nerves in the feet and legs get thinner making you feel less. Small wounds in the foot can infect easily because of this and in some cases amputation of the foot (or worse) are needed.
My grandfather on mom's side has diabetes type 1, they had to amputate his whole right leg because of this.
