Morning all.
Happy birthday to spath! you're a kind old chap, I hope it treats you well. ARK is a ball on ps4. some dude caught my buddy joe, force fed him poison berries, and threw him into the ocean. another dude did his character up as a hot chick, ran up on me in the middle of the night by my campfire, then before I knew what was going on gutted me with a spear. Really lets your inner sociopath shine... I think you'd be a natural Niko. It showed -5 on the temp gauge coming into work this morning, this ***sucks. what does everyone else know? big shittin' weekend plans? sup? how you livin'?

The rest of the year will not be so merciful. On top of the normal holiday stuff which is stressful, but nice, my dad is flying in from Arizona on 12/11 and will be staying with my grandmother, so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and drive up to my hometown to see him/them. I love seeing my grandma and wish I could do it more. Not as excited about seein' pop. Lots of uncomfortable years of quasi-estrangement there, but I'm a grown man. I'll deal with it.

In a shockingly right-wing twist, I really, really wish Pennsylvania would privatize our *** liquor stores. "higher on the shelf than Sailor Jerry" doesn't really exist here. You can buy Appleton Estate or something, and there are a couple ~$50 options of the "limited run" variety, but none of them are actually better than SJ. Luckily, at least Jerry is decent. I enjoy it's fruitiness over, say, Captain. Which is a classic standby much loved by all, but it's flavor is one of "sugar, spice, and burning." Let's see, what is on the agenda today... Well some drama at work with what I think is someone getting fired but I don't actually know. What I do know is he showed up and started pounding on the back door and when he came around front the boss blocked him from coming in so... I assume fired? Or maybe told to take the rest of the week off since he kinda flipped out yesterday. I dunno, I'm just staying out of it. Hmm what else for today... Oh yeah! It's Thursday so it's almost Friday which is nice I guess. I feel like there was another thing... Oh right, caught up on Westworld.

Update on random work thing which I only know bits and pieces of:
-Boss was screaming at him for like 10-15 min -One boss left office to take care of other things -Still in the office, but no screaming. I can only hear mumbling (could probably listen in if I turned off music but I don't care enough) -I heard laughing at one point I'M MORE CONFUSED THAN WHEN I STARTED.
