oh right...Mosin! I was going to tell mosin I only smoke cigars on weekends and not every weekend either. Which takes a considerable amount of effort on my part but it is worth it. and this dives into all kinds of will power and ninja mind control techniques we can skip over unless you are interested, but if you smoke because you have to, then the pleasure of smoking is gone and it's been replaced by utility and repetition. you may as well take out a hammer and hit yourself in the *** every forty five minutes... Have you ever lit up a second cigarette while the first one is burning in your other hand? perhaps you were half drunk at the time, but the important thing is you aren't truly enjoying your cigarettes. and then... what's the point? if you're going to kill yourself... do it in style! you have to at least enjoy killing yourself.... take time and appreciate the subtlety and determination involved it... you can't get cancer from one lousy cigarette.... you have really got to want it!!!!

In unrelated news, my "drunk cousin" who moved up here to work with us informed us the other day that he hadn't had any alcohol in over a month. This guy, my earliest memories of him is with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. He's lost so much to alcohol, his wife, his driver's license, he almost lost his contact with his daughters, and at a point it looked like he was going to lose his life. I hope he can seriously cut down if not quit completely. EDIT: To clarify, he went through a divorce, his DUI actually came from riding a 4-wheeler to the store while drunk. I always called them Newport Reds, and they were the cheapest name brand cig around.
Now I smoke Pall Mall Reds for 180 dinara ($1.67) a pack with a lot less tar and CO compared to U.S. ones.
