Hey Misa, you want to play some Smash or something this evening?
yeah would be a nice change of pace. nothing but XIV since 2 fridays ago.
got my chara to 59 finally, tho the current zone i am at is tiresome.
Excellent. I played some Splatoon over the weekend with Coldrice. The local multiplayer is lackluster, especially since Nintendo loves the "one person plays using the tv, the other uses the gamepad!" ***. We ended up playing online and just passing the controller every match. Was definitely a fun game, but one that I feel I wouldn't play solo. It's not the same without someone else there to share the reactions with IMO.
I love the online play, but yeah, 2 players on 1 console sucks.
did you ever pick it up ?
would be nice to not play with randoms lol

just feel like rollers are too OP, especially with the kraken specials
Nah I didn't pick it up. Maybe one day, but it won't be for awhile, dumping too much money into replacing shitty roof. Guns with an okay range are decent for killing rollers. The bazooka special is beast for shutting them down I find.

I'm hoping for an aggressive and exciting one (probably won't be the case), but Germany 3:2 US. Why not?

I liked the Zapper, but grenades and special where lackluster

my K/D ratio greatly improved once I started using the .52Gallon gun, with seeker mines and missile special

Alton Brown's Roasted Chile Salsa

Lots of work, but great stuff. ^

My own regular and easy:

I've found this salsa mix at Giant Eagle, Walmart, and Wegman's throughout Pennsylvania so it may be available nationwide. Don't follow the recipe on the pouch though. 1 lb tomatos, 2-4 jalepenos based on your taste, 1 bunch green onion. Toss it all in a food processor until it reaches desired consistency.

I make it for parties at both my own workplace and the wife's and get constant requests for it.

Serranos are also good (I used them last time, in fact). The pepper can be replaced at your option for flavor/heat variation.

I, however, prefer jalapenos most of the time.

The bigger variation off the called-for recipe for me is the green onion compared to red. Green onion adds much more flavor. You could even use leaks if you hate the people around you.

So...nuts to you, cat!

honestly for a salsa, japaeños are too last option.
forgot what the red ones are called but can try those, or even a habanero.

Look, I know everyone and their mother has a *** for "more heat, more heat!" from their peppers, but I enjoy tasting my food. Not crying involuntarily.

Sriracha is about the hottest thing I enjoy. And even then I'm not sure why I enjoy it because it's just too hot...but I like it anyhow for some reason.

Jalapenos are good for flavor and just a touch of heat.

They also, by the by, make a "hot" mix version of that stuff. It's not drastically hotter, but it's noticeable. I use the hot version for my wife's workplace parties + serranos because the guys there are all about proving their masculinity through hot food.

hmm thought Serrano was under jalapeño.

edit: That said, I find Serrano easier on the stomach rather than Jalapeño

My favorite jalapenos are the pickled ones I put on nachos anyhow.

Cayenne is quite good for throwing a pinch on meat, vegggies, or pasta along with whatever other seasoning you're using without throwing the flavor off.

A little heat is good, but a little goes a long way (for me).

It's interesting how different acids react in the stomach. I prefer habanero over jalapeno.

If I had a choice, though, I'd go with Asian peppers over South American.

Sichuan peppercorns and dried chillis (thai or birds eye). Mmmmm.

It's not a very long list.

It's basically you and now him!

And you've been pretty quiet on that front recently...

I promise you those nachos are delicious. And I enjoy a wide variety of nachos. They're pretty much my favorite food.

1- too many chips
2- toppings piled up on one spot, not enough coverage
3- microwaved grated cheese. again, not enough coverage

Toppings go down through the middle. I'm trying to find a better picture. Toppings did divide up just fine among the chips present though.

They're volcano nachos at Margaritaville.

My memories may or may not be "enhanced" by the 3-4 margaritas included with the nachos.

either way, the big issue with those is the type of cheese and the fact that it is (90% sure) microwaved, makes it gross.
guacamole doesnt help, but that is on a personal level.

it needs actual nacho cheese to make good nachos and sticky fingers.

When I order nachos I don't want to have to hire a structural engineer on how to eat it without having nachos fall all over the place

also lack of black olive slices on that plate

If you want more salt, just salt them.

Black olives are...meh. Not really much in the flavor department.

Well, I can tell you the chips didn't have the sort of spongy nature that comes when you microwave chips, and given the double plating they could have just been stuck in an oven to melt stuff too. I remember a degree of more nacho-cheese cheese on the ones we had, though, too. I just grabbed the first picture I found on Google.

it doesnt need a lot of heaat to actually melt the cheese. in that picture's case, you can see some unmelted cheese at the bottom.
