Morning everyone.
Figured out my pc problems are definitely caused by my new HDD. Did an RMA for it so I put in my old HDD... which is also on its last leg. I'm just hoping it holds out until my replacement arrives. If not, so many RPGs will get finished.

Misa, have you had more stability using USB 2.0?

USB issue could have been resolved, If I had payed attention, which I didnt. ended up batch installing MOBO drivers, which include the USB 3.0 drivers. these are crap, and have been causing my USB issue. tried to remove, and revert the 3.0 into 2.0, ended up Disabling all the USB. system restore via disk helped out. havent found a way to revert them yet. atleast the headset hasnt had issues yet. only the mouse so far. still dont know what causes the random visual staggering. tried to install Win 8, but went with Win 7, mainly because the store was out of windows. yes yes, I should wait for Win10, but I dont want to. it will be a freshly released version and buggy as heck. while I will claim the free upgrade (especially if it comes on disk) I will wait until it gets SP1 also, poking around the Bios, seems my MOBO gets optimal performance on Win8

then again, havent done proper system stress (gaming) testing, as I played lots of Diablo3 on ps4 over the weekend.

Morning all. I find it audaciously boring. I don't want to work, I just want to bang on the drum all day.
The weekend was pretty dull. I got blotto'ed saturday night around a campfire my neighbor made in his backyard in a 36" concrete culvert section. something so *** awesomely primal about stupid fire... we were enjoying ourselves thoroughly, when a garter snake scared the ***out of the neighbor from within the crate he'd been carrying wood in. the bugger threw the snake right into the fire were it was immediately cooked alive. poor little guy. I was all "hey, wtf dude, what'd you cook that little thing for?!?!" he responded with "he scared me, that's what he gets." I was pretty bummed. I managed to stumble home without incident. You might be able to "update" the drivers to 2.0 Not sure, never tried it.
It could also be your mouse just plain doesn't like your mobo. I had a mouse that would some times cause Windows not to boot. Weirdest issue I've ever had.
