Make sure to do a "junk" purge before moving. It's a reinvigorating sensation after getting a good look at how much crap you actually own while boxing.

Well, it will be 18 months or so before we actually move, probably 6-8 before we start looking and consider acquiring the loan and putting in bids.
As for the devices and tools, I own most of those already. I don't own lawncare stuff as I do no lawn maintenance (one of my favorite perks of renting) but I grew up in a very do-it-yourself type family, so I've got plenty of tools and househould maintenance items.
