It comes off (to me) as desperate, underhanded and slimy just as I see someone coming off a relationship where someone got hurt then looking to score among friends as a rash decision that she'll most likely regret and you'll feel bad about. Last thing I need is to be used a point of contention between two people. "Look, I slept with your friend! See? I don't need you!" I'll give her time to come off the breakup high then if she wants to pursue something, so be it. She knows I'm (reluctantly) interested and I'm not going anywhere.
