I keep my XI account open with the hope that perhaps the game will become exciting again but all my friends and linkshell leaders have quit so its dead.
It is amusing that many of our linkshell MVPs have paired off and become romantic couples right before the shell went to ***lol. I think people wanted to justify their years of investment in XI and what better way than repeatedly poking someone who also played FFXI?

I used to see spath around shiva once in a while and I would wave but I don't think he ever recognized me, . And I didn't want him to think I was about to geek all over him and make him feel uncomfortable...
Occasionally, I will get a wave or a "dude, that was a funny post" tell and that's fine. But dudes are generally uncomfortable receiving attention from other dudes...scuba steve... polite nods are fine but heavy breathing and following close behind is wrong. So is going in people's rooms! I already went ahead and burned down my whole neighborhood and blamed in on the hurricane on the off chance you were in my room looking for someone else that shares your taste in "pillows" Also, I'm shipping a crate full of fire ants to your house so if you could just climb right on in there with them, that would be great, mmmk? kthnks
