RMT's Are Desperate Now?

Has anyone else received the new RMT tells that ask you to sell gil to them? -.- I was so happy when I thought they were gone since I had not received one for a week =/

They got massbanned again I guess.
noticed their prices went from 15$ to 40$?
they lost their supply of gil so they want to build it up again.

Either that or they sold out since the price was so low :3.

I dont think it's that they're desperate for gil, this sounds a lot like it could be a potential idenity theft scam
I also recieved one of these tells and the teller wanted you to contact him through email, the other rmts
had a website that they did business through so either it's a scam or they're trying to operate under
the table since china passed the rmt limiting law

I thought most of the RMT sellers are Korean, at least that's wot I've heard. o.o

Yeah I was reading about the conditions they have to work in.. They work for like 14 hours straight or something. ._. They also sleep 4 to a room the size of a small dorm in college. =x

lol got that tell this morning so I just sent a tell back, send me 400 dollars and I'll give ya all my gil. lol didn't get a tell back.

Speaking of RMT, a few days ago at bastok there were like 5 characters all with random letters in their names.. They were just trading eachother and running back into the MG. I spam traded them and they traded me 10 water crystals o.O.. Apparently they are gardening now too?

I got 2 today from nearly the same person. They told me to email them at some gmail account. I forgot what it was though. If I remember I'll be sure to help them by signing them up for a bunch of free offers and whatnot ^^

Yeah they are, that's why all those legit gardeners got banned because they were mistaken for RMT just because RMT have started gardening and npc'ing what they get for gil. So according to SE, if you do that too, you're RMT >_>

For one thing, RMT have always gardened, fished, and done anything else that they can easily bot, tho the fishing has gone down alot since SE has produced better ways of detecting tools and banning them more frequently, And secondly if players got banned who gardened, they were doing something else than gardening or exploiting a glitch while gardening, SE doesnt go ban crazy for no reason,

No, legit players have got banned due to SE's automated detection tools. I recall reading on BG last night that trial accounts will get automatically banned if they NPC anything to Proud Beard in Bastok. Hell I remember at Fanfest SE even mentioned innocent people getting jailed while they were testing the program. The auto jailings have been getting a lot of attention outside the XI community as well. The escapist has a topic about it going on.

I do have to admit I am loving the irony of this. SE says they can't do anything to people who bot at HNMs when they say they have no proof. Yet NPCing something to a certain NPC on a trial account or having a bunch of gardening mules is proof enough to them you're RMT and they'll ban you w/o hesitation.

i don't know about anyone else, but the other night my character Feix and my bud Funond got 7 rmt tells each in under 30min...they just spamming it now.

Uh in reply to the Proud bear NPC thing, I NPC a couple things to it and not banned,this might only ban if its a 10 day trial account as for RMT only gardening, its not likely, its not that great of profit to make the millions that I would imagine an RMT would need to have in stock

I heard they made it a crime to be a RMT in China now.
