Forefront Animator any good?
hey does anyone know what rank you need to buy this and if it is any good? I went to the person and couldn't see it on the list. Can anyone tell me anything about it?
No one has it yet because the new bayld item NPCs haven't been unlocked yet.
I'm sure it's not that great, it's probably there for the people that can't do delve

looks to be a lvl 106 item so it going to be a NQ verison, while the alternator is the HQ. not bad at all. since most dont have the plasma,KI the bayld way will be nice to have. it gonna be the same like the smn one
I can get the plasm but I don't have the KI for Alternator. Argh!

Coincidentally this is exactly what I was doing for like two months. I don't bother to even do that anymore, but yeah there are people like that.

Since they changed how the pet levels work (for PUP it's now tied directly to the animator's item level,) this is your best bet for exactly that. Alternator V.S. Forefront Animator

I imagine it will be just like the smn item. Bayld version item level 106 and delve version item level 113~116, cant remember which.
Alternator will still be the best. There are people with different focuses. Tons of players have come back and simply aren't even ready for delve yet. They have to go through all the hoops, finishing cop; limit breaks; the whole shebang. Then there are the people who do not have 75 mil gil to spend on collecting wins. Then there are people who aren't on servers like Asura. And then there are people who log in to talk to others and socialize. Plenty of reasons.

True, but not doing it at all is also stupid, unless you've gotten all the gear you want from it, then don't feel like doing it anymore.
but walking around with ***gear, saying "omg the forefront isn't out yet what do I do?" is also just as stupid. He obviously cannot do Delve content. Just drop it.

It takes an alliance to effectively farm plasm even without doing NMs. Given the relatively small population these days, plasm farm shouts can take an hour to fill and possibly more... some people aren't interested in investing that much time into sitting around waiting to see if a plasm group can fill or not, leaving the bayld option a bit more appealing. Don't assume everyone plays as much as you or plays with the same priorities as you, it's shortsided.

If it follows SMN it will be lvl 106. SMN has a bayld ammo which is 106 and its plasm ammo is 113. Alternator is 113 too iirc which is why I'm sure Forefront is 106.
Edit: And as for farming plasm. He has PUP so he could just farm the shards up, eat em for plasm. Only take around 200 of them to by the Alternator. Ya it'll take a while but it's a possibility. Can then just buy airlixirs to upgrade stuff. Farm plasm? Dasanuffadat check your inbox. Also, its is shortsighted to think that everyone can do delve or can even get a decent alliance together to farm plasm on every server.

Forefront = mini-animator
+47 stats 50ish% increase to damage given and 2/3ish-1/2ish taken on mandies outside of town, very small sample and with whm pet. It is a very decent upgrade, good to have when you don't have delve plasm version. The level 106 item will make most Abysea NM miss your avatar all the time, and your avatar damage see a huge spike. Add the staff from reive - and you can spike the damage quite a bit. I would assume the delve version will be far superior, though the reive version will make your aby farming experience far much easier so you can gear your other jobs. |
