Quick Draw

I noticed on the wiki that MAB increases QD dmg but MACC is untested and i couldnt find about INT. Any suggestions on a gear setup for Quick Draw damage?

Magic Attack Bonus/Staff/Bullet/Gun/Day/Weather are the only things that effect the dmg on Quick Draw Agi effects accuracy and Magic Accuracy is rumored to effect acc as well.

Macc will up damage in the sense that you will be resisted less but that's it.

lol... Quick Draw McGraw?

M.Acc will only effect the "accuracy" and "resistance" of your QuickDraw.
EXAMPLE: If you are having trouble dispelling with Dark Shot, or having trouble landing Light Shot, then macro in any and all M.Acc gear.

As for QD Damage, My suggestion is this (and this is exactly what i do for events such as Limbus, Sky, ETC on my COR)

Get as much MAB gear as you can. Most is few and far between. most is R/Ex and is a pain in the *** to get (Personally...mine suck. been having a hard time getting things like a Supremacy Earring and Nim.Tights... or Denali Pants, etc
Easy MAB Pieces are things like a Moldy Earring, or a Ugg.Pendant.

IF you haven't finished ACP yet, and you plan to take COR seriously, then get the Mirke with MAB +4 and QD Delay down by 5. its a beautiful thing.

Grab your Ele-Staffs and have them macro'd in for each shot you do as they will increase the damage.

DON'T FORGET: Damage is also calculated by the base damage of your GUN and Bullets (I've been using Murderer and Steel Bullets)

Now here is where it gets silly... SUB BLUE MAGE.
Alot of CORs swear by BLM sub for QD for the MAB2 trait it gets...
BUT... BLU gets MAB if you set Cursed Sphere and Sound Blast...
PLUS you can set Foot Kick, Smite of Rage and Chaotic Eye... you will get an extra +5 AGI. ontop of the regular nice benefits you could get from BLU such as Wild Carrot for healing, HEaling Breeze, Metallic Body, etc. (keeping in mind AGI. is a modifier for QD Accuracy)

Couple all this with throwing Wizards Roll on yourself (especially if you're in a BLM party) and your QDs should be getting pretty epic.

On our Kirin Fights, I've gone COR/BLU and tossed into the BLM party, and have doen around 400+ with Wind Shot.

If you merit down the recast time, together with the Mirke body, you're poppin one QD every 45 seconds, plus you also will have 2 chances since it stores a shot.

Its a good feeling seeing yourself as like a mini-BLM poppin 400+, twice in a Row.

Im still trying to get better MAB gear to really up the damage.

P.S. for the love of God... Ranged Accurcay has NOTHING to do with QD. so if you plan on being a QD Onry COR (like i've been gearing towards) then leave all that r.acc behind and just grab AGI and MAB

Kuz awesome post. My Cor is 64 now and I've been loading up on my gear for 75. I hadn't even considered /blu since I'm not that familiar with the job. Looks like I've got a sub to finish :D

Wouldn't a Corsair's gun(+1) be the best gun to QD in? (Besides Death Penalty if that has higher than 41 base damage, but huge *** pipe dream)

Yeah, but if you can get a Supremacy Earring, I believe the Murder is better.

Umm.. I've heard that even NQ cor's gun is better than murder/suprem although I'm having trouble off the top of my head remembering if that was with novio or not.

Keep in mind, as i stated BLM sub is what most QD COR's swear by.
RDM is nice, and has the same healing/mab effect that BLU would have...

BUT... with BLU, getting a few more AGI without stacking on Gear free's up space for more MAB gear.

As i said, its a bit unconventional, but trust me, it works.

It was at one point, not sure now with the Murderer/Earring set-up.
I can tell you the ONLY reason I have the Murderer is because my LS does the SCNMs and BCNMs in La Vaule on a weekly basis...
and EVENTUALLY that god-forsaken earring will be MINE

Because /Blm gives MAB II, while /Blu only gives MAB I.

True, and i won't even argue that.
My reason for the BLU sub is the AGI you can get without taking up gear slots...something neither RDM nor BLM can offer you.
Plus, you get more defensive Spells and Healing spells.

you CAN also set spells with auto-regen at that level...
as WELL as Beast Killer Trait (seeing "Kirin is intimidated by Kuz's Presence" makes me giggle)

Well, I was considering blu as a situational sub, but yeah for pure damage your not going to be able to top /blm.

Still trying patiently to get Denali Pants, or Nim. tights.
As well as that Earring.
Ugg.Pendant could be purchased soon enough.
and Novio... LOL. maybe my next life.

And BTW... I have a Diana Corona...
but basically its there for the M.Acc swap in.
the MAB it gives on a full moon (from what I've tested) is equal to the enhancement you'd get from AF Hat.

Now if only i'd ever see a SINLGE item drops from Limbus for COR AF+1... then the AGI would start going up :)

Muderer isn't all that good even with the earring. You're better off with an NQ Corsair's Gun.
