Final Fantasy VI Movie

In before the cease-and-desist order.

I randomly came across this while visiting the gamefaqs FF6 forum and thought I'd share it here before it gets all squashed. It looks pretty and of course I'm hopeful, but sadly, as in the past with some fan-based projects, SquareEnix will crush it. I know it's their intellectual property and why they can and will do so, but there is always wishful thinking that something like this would get the approval from the big SE.

Knowing SE, sadly, they'll send a C&D order. They did it before with the fanmade Chrono Trigger remake and they'll do it again here. It's quite sad, honestly, that fans seem to have more creative talent, drive, ambition and determination than the original copyright holders of these games..

I'd like to see this finished and get permission from SE to go forward. Final Fantasy VI has always been my favorite Final Fantasy in the series.
