Got bored and drew a "Federation aketon" in the afternoon :/ would love to share it but sadly the char i made it on can't make QR codes yet...
I tried to put it on a char that could make the QR codes but she couldn't make it since she didn't design it T-T

Was watering my flowers and a giant black tarantula came out and bit me, is no place sacred?! afk nightmares :<

Seen 9 tarantula's in the 11 days I've been playing and they only show up when I somehow don't have a net on me at all. Last bug I can really catch this season and it's just avoiding me or something.

Never saw one near flowers though, wouldn't be able to see their body at all in a group of those...

Happened with Wild World as well but I seem to be playing New leaf less and less each month. Get's a little difficult to really stay interested when there's nothing new to obtain every day. I don't even stop by Kick's now as I apparently obtained every pair of shoes he sells.

The first two months or so were really fun though and I spent a bit to much time playing it every day.

Yeah i find thats typical with animal crossing games, one of these days theyll do something to make it more interesting ...
A game about living...Lol

So I just looked at a villager list for the first time (I've only been playing for a week now).

There are a ton of villagers. I don't even know where to start.

Anyone have any favorites/why? How do I get new villagers; or prevent my favorites from leaving?

Bam - He's awesome. Enough said. I like his attitude/love for lifting weights, and he looks a lot cooler than a lot of the other "jocks"

Freckles - Super cute, fun villager

Sally - Same as freckles

[Don't mind but if they left, oh well]
Gruff - Pretty cool goat, but wouldn't mind him going to see what else is around, but if he stayed, I'd be fine as well.

Becky - Didn't like her at first, but she's grown on me. I have her saying fo' shizzle as well, so that's a plus

Nate - Don't like him

[Just moved in/haven't truly given them a shot yet, but don't like either based on appearance only]
Agnes - Went to see her unboxing, haven't seen her around since, but just didn't like how she looks. Anyone have any opinions on her?

Graham - I didn't even know he moved in until I had the ceremony for my fountain. Was like "who is this" Talked to him once there, don't care for him, but again, haven't given him a shot. Any opinions?


As long as I can keep Freckles/Bam/Sally, I'll be happy, but would like to hear about some good villagers in general, how to get them/how to get rid of the ones I don't like

To keep them from leaving, just tell them "No don't go!" when they mention moving. Message changes depending on their personality I think, but there will always just be a go or stay option.

Up to 9 villagers will just move in over time, doesn't seem to be a set schedule for them. The tenth villager has to be recruited from the campsite public works project by repeatedly talking to them and playing games. They won't move in if you don't already have 9 other villagers though.

I really like Agent S and Kiki but I didn't have 9 villagers in town when they showed up at the campsite.

I'm trying to unlock the T&T Emporium. I KNOW I have spent well over 100,000 bells in Nooklings so far, so my only other obstacle is Gracie's Fashion Checks. I've only done 1, and I haven't seen her again since. Is it possible for me to visit someone else's town whom Gracie is visiting and get a Fashion Check there?

Or is there some other way to do this?
