After all the drama on the forums about gamesplanet.com, I was just wondering if anyone had any opinion on this..? I can't see how they can sell a brand new game for 75% off..?

Does anyone know if we can get the CD keys from this website for just the Seekers expansion if we buy this combo, or how that would work? I've never used that site before.

Maybe this store bought more than it can sell? Maybe they're not selling them as fast as they wanted? They might have an immediate need for cash, or even be selling various games at very times cheaply in order to build a customer base? Maybe it's a very limited time deal and expires in 3:14:20? 3:14:18? I am soo hesitant after all that #*$& that went on with gamesplanet but I need it for 2 accounts.. 20$ vs. 80$ is sick.

I can't even get on their main site anymore Anyone wanna grab me a EU key? Can trade for an NA one + whatever difference between the costs or pay full cost for it. Would get it myself but Gamersgate doesn't seem to like ordering from their EU site using an NA account/IP/whatever. PM!

Most of the people in one of my social ls's skipped buying the expansion because they didn't want to pay $29 for it, said they would wait until its under $20 (or even $9)...
in the past there has always been at least one ultimate collection deal at $9.99 or $19.99 a month or two after a new add-on

All things considered, I'd say that it sold pretty well for an expansion to a 10(almost 11) year old MMO. New zones have been pretty busy, and a majority of the people I know bought it at launch. It's to be expected that some wait for a price cut, happens with every game, it's just more noticeable in one whose playerbase probably doesn't exceed 200,000 individuals.
There might have been deals after the Abyssea UC launched, but that was only because at that point, Abyssea was over a year old. I'm pretty sure this is the first "collection" to launch at the same time as the expansion itself? Please correct me if I'm wrong

I havent looked any any actually numbers but if it sold 150,000 + plus id be shocked.
Plus let's not forget, this is a third party retailer that's pretty well known to do amazing sales like these pretty frequently. Lots of $60 new releases have had pretty hefty discounts within a week on GG as little as a week after launch.
Looks like finding numbers for sales is a pain in the *** for this. Id assume SE doesnt really release those numbers.
