How does Jingang GS fit among the stuff like Borealis/Hoarfrost, Gram, and Magian GS? I picked one up before GS prices shoot up, was planning to use it until I can upgrade. Decent option?

I completely admit my cluenessness to the world of GS. 100% light DD on my other jobs (which makes me absolutely thrilled to see how much stuff I can reuse on RUN!)

Crobaci DMG:141 Delay:501 one of the great swords added in update, Is only 2 less base damage than a 99 Ragnarok but has 70 more delay, can 7-hit with just brutal and rajas. Looks like it might be the best option. Probably a 0.5% drop from one of the new HNM or something stupid though...

Save your money, Skadi's are better.

Oh, tarutaru sash, that's a pretty nice addition considering this job is likely to be good for solo.

Please for the love of god let Lunge not be MAB intensive....

I'd love to keep the 60 or so spaces in gear just the way they are.

Can somone verify RUN using OChain? seems interesting. RUN has a lot of gear choices it seems, luckily those gear choices fit with my other jobs. Sword, GSwrd, Axe, GAxe is really neat.

It was said that they will not be attaining relic/empyrean weapons (ochain being a shield yes, still falls under this field imo) so i highly doubt they'd get ochain

By slightly and very amateurly (so I might have made a few mistakes) modifying the THF spreadsheet I'm getting that the Thaumas + Twilight TP set with Nomkhapha Mitts is better than the one with 3/5 Skadi +1 + Sigyn + Windbuffet! This is considering the set bonus and I wasn't able to take away THF's native crit hit damage bonus which would've favored skadi set even more.

RUN looks exactly like my blu but with a GS instead of Almace... I love it!

Were RUN's evasion and parry skill ranges mentioned in the patch notes/previous info releases/data scraping? The Swordplay ability (increased accuracy/eva until a critical hit is received) and Inquartata and Tactical Parry (parry bonus/TP bonus to parry) traits imply that it's going to be a high evasion/parry type job, no?

If that's the case, then maybe an eva set or hybrid set (hopefully the job is not solo-only type thing) might be needed at some point also.

For just physical spamming mobs yea, but hopefully we would be using a PLD for those :(

They can Elemental and WS paths, yes. But not Emp of Fulgurante paths.

Oh, you said swords, no, they can't.

Well, you CAN do the same with GSs.
