Wouldn't Bikku Hose +1 make a better choice? It has 20 kicks and 8 store tp.

You lose a whole bunch of eva, m.eva, attack, acc, critrate, defense, 9 str. There's probably a situation where buffs would make the Bhikku win, but realistically I can't see people wanting to use them.
Bhikku+3 will likely be a different story.

Tried eyeballing on apex mobs @ DHO Gates for 30 mins.. capped attack vere r15.. VS is 40-55k with impetus up.. RF has noticeably changed tho been getting 45k-70k, but RF sucks with SC..
On another note, TK is devastating with footwork.. had plenty of 99k but average I would say 50k-80k all with 2200tp
I am not expert on DPS simulation, however, this update won't really make mnk top the charts, thats how i feel but nice adjustments.
I hope someone can do a detailed analysis, the above is just rough eyeballing

edit: these are all 2K+ TP obviously.
Just eyeballing samples the difference between 1K and 2K given the dev notes, was expectedly immense.

It honestly depends on if you think a RF past 2k tp will do more than 2 VS plus SC at 1k TP. Even with impetus down using godhands I'd hit 25k VSs that ended in 35k light or whatever (TY SC bonus). SC property really hurts RF although I did quite a few 2k RF > 2k TK for detonation that absolutely obliterated the mobs butthole.

Are you using R15 vere? Cause 2 VS + SC will beat the 2k RF from what I see. Even throw in the shij>smite>smite will for sure beat someone waiting till 2k.
Godhands are definitely awesome. But only way I see them winning is when impetus is down.

Look Galka, you just got an adjustment so you no longer have to multi-step with Godhands to kill things in under a minute. Now you want a SP2 that last 3 minutes like Bolster? Why don't we just merge GEO and MNK and call it SHL for Shaolin and give it a relic called Devil Hands? Miss you mang!

Pretty sure it wont be rolled back. Last time it was an error with WSD working for all hits. Now its a intentional change, that they prepared for. If they start rolling things back they will admit they are "testing" things on real sever instead of on their side and they wont do it. Not with so few ppl to work on game. They wont bother to readjust WSs again and again. Also what is more important there is 0 reason to do it from their perspective. WSing for 50-70k in escha during impetus+cor+brd+geo isnt broken. Sure with monk white damage it might be a new best thing overall but its still very close to SAM spaming fudo for 50+k with way higher WS frequency or spaming 60-80k Impulse while waiting for higher TP like MNK with Tornado or RF.

Did ambu earlier, moogle did benediction at 10% (***). Popped every JA including impetus and went to pound town on it. Initial VS was 25k-35k or so, but oce impetus hits got stacked VS started doing 45k-65k per WS, with a couple of VS doing 80k dmg. It was amazing watching that dmg being dished out so fast in no time. Took me a 1:30 to bring it back down to 10%.

What's really fun is if it uses hundred fists. You beat his *** with counters. I did it last year that way.

Anyone suggestions for current WS set? I am thinking of swapping Niqmaddu Ring for Epona's because I prefer more chance of DA/TA instead of QA.

They might be thinking about/doing a full relic sweep/adjust (they desperately need it) Meleeing Relics being universally "bad" across the board. aside kiko getting some love.

this is what i had been using for smite and still produces decent numbers, i'm hesitant to switch away from crit for multi attack

Prebuff I believe Ken body +1 was better with impetus down (could be wrong there.) Now Ken body definitely should be better with triple attack and crit. Wonder if the same could be said for ken legs and feet now, too? I can test it out little later for sure.

Pre-buff I was using Rancor Neck and no begrugding, and I think AF+3 body was better, also it's a nice additional +15 acc if you use Regal Ring.
Right now I'm leaning to think Kendatsuba+1 might be a winner in the head, body, legs and feet slot, despite lower STR. Those multiattack procs are hot yo.
Ryou+1 hands still winning probably. Wonder what the next best option after Ryuo+1 would be. Mummu+2? Kendatsuba+1?
Also I guess no more Tonberry items. Other Rings are better than Begrudging and Fotia is quite probably better than Rancor Neck.
Glad to be proven wrong though, hey!
