So... Coming Back Again. What To Expect?

Okay. So. I may, possibly be coming back when the new expansion comes about. Maybe before... Could someone be a dear and share with me what has changed since shortly after the 99 cap? And what to expect?

What do i need to prepare myself for?

Is Jeuno still shout capital of the world?

Is Asura still full of trolls? Or did they all leave?

Please help. ^^;

Not much has changed since the 99 cap was reached, just a lot of force spawn NMs. (fine by me) Still a lot of unnecessary trolling and hater-ism about.

You have objectives you need to fulfill and you fight a boss at the end.

Hmm, sounds cool. Might have to give that a go.

Excpect the same great FFXI that people always end up coming back too. I just came back after a year break, but am only playing for fun not a slave to a LS anymore just me and a couple friends having a good time in the best MMO :D. Honestly forget the abyssea change, everything is the same except things can be low manned (some things), ffxi was never just all about abyssea, this expansion shows SE knows the fans dont like it that much and are still adding on to an over decade worth game! Its good to take breaks from this game it shows how much the game has impacted you to come back and the love and addiction always creeps in when you start to play again!!

Yes, same here haha. When i took a break i found myself on youtube watching solos and just random ***about ffxi, made me miss it also. Well if you do, welcome back and jsut have fun with it, promise you after a couple days that love for ffxi will be back ^^
