That doesn't explain the same repeated (and quite honestly tired) argument of cutting out facts just to make one character stronger vs the other. Either you are looking at both of them at the maximum potential or you don't compare them at all.
Being dismissive of what it takes to write a comic/manga, cutting out timelines also isn't very sound logic. It's not like they take some bum off the street, hand 'em a marker and say here write the newest Superman/Dragonball storyline/timeline adaptation. The essence of each vision is still technically the same; one hero has no limits and keeps struggling with having to live amongst mortals, the other hero strives to break the limits he has and is apparently part Jesus since he just keeps getting wished back.
You just can't compare the two.
