I think any sort of limited analysis would prove that I am by no means the "bad" guy.

I was never good at RPing.

Steps to fighting BLU.

1) Obtain a mercenary's mantle. (Mrc. Mantle)
2) Obtain a Stoic Earring.

It will be hilarious when this NM is camped and the item is sold for mountains of riches.

would have to think a bit more outside the box on blu headbutt and lunge are already terrible in pvp

possibly so far outside the box that you end up in some other box

Pretty sure BLU v DRK favors the DRK. I may give it a shot eventually to see what happens, but shutting down a DRK is a fairly difficult process these days.

Honestly, I would think Requi would play a decent role in that, given it's odd dmg type, no?

I honestly don't see Requiescat being much of a factor at all. You're not stacking mods or attack, you don't have a gorget or belt on, and the ignores resistances property is a seperate term from PDT/MDT. All of that assumes that you manage to accumulate 100 TP in the first place, which seems unlikely and is arguably even inadvisable since it will also allow him to gather TP. If you could somehow stick Absolute Terror on him and then follow up with Req > CAEfflux QC that's an entirely different story, but you'd need a significant amount of setup and luck to get to a point where you can just pop Unbridled Learning without him stalling long enough for it to wear off.

Oh ok. I honestly thought Requie bypassed pdt/mdt. I wasn't sure how it calculated against a player really. Fair enough. I was moreso thinking delta thrust would be great if you were to tp on somebody though. Or just DoT somebody to hell and back on blu. I still think blu is probably one of the better ways to go.

Delta Thrust is wonderful, but you still have to be careful since BLU can easily feed him a ton of TP. Given enough time you could probably get to 100 but eh... So many considerations. Use of CA/Efflux is extremely telling so SCs are out unless you've completely shut him down, in which case your goal is making him dead as fast as possible regardless of TP. Sanguine Blade is going to do less damage (I think - given low stats and disparities in PDT/MDT it may not be significantly different, something I'd want to check out beforehand), but a mini-Cata isn't the worst use of your TP. Situational and all that jazz.

My assessment is that even through even 50% PDT requiescat will do 500~ consistently with no additional gear needed.

Where are you Zirk, it is time to start meriting.

I'll get these Meeble runs done in the mean time.

BTW My offer of +10M stands. And I am spreading the offer to anyone. The bounty is now 60,000,000 Gil to whomever defeats Urteil before the close date.

I think it would be pretty fun to put our official predictions out there before the match. Here's mine:

Zirk either wins or gives a better account of himself in losing than any previous challenger.

I think it will be very close, but if I have to pick one, I'll go with Zirk.

I will fight you Urteil. I dont need time to merit or buy gear or buy spells or lvl a mule. Like you I have one job lvled to 99, my rdm.

I have been playing for 5 years and rdm is the job I use the most and I push it to the limits to see what I can and cant do. I am out of town atm but will be back friday night.

I have never done pvp before so all I ask is give me a day to practice pvp with some of my strongest LS buddys and I will transfer over next week.

I wont predict a win, but I will give it my all, like I said I have played rdm for 5 years, I am confident.

I look forward to it,
