that, and i think it speaks to all the MMO gamer types out there who are mashing the nostalgia button.

It IS very accurate to the whole "MMO game world" premise. Dot.Hack did the same thing but it didn't actually look at it in the players PoV it was a story that revolved around this game and this little group of characters and not exactly their experiences. They both are very nice in my opinion, i'd honestly play both MMO's simultaneously if i could<3

Personally, i sat through and watched all 13 episodes in 2 days, which is kind of a stretch for me, since i'm more of a marathon anime guy.

The beginning few episodes were interesting, especially when Kirito is called a "beater" byIkaou or w/e his name is, because he let someone die.

Also, my favorite character is Klein, because he reminds me quite a bit of Sylabus from .hack//roots.

Kirito reminds me of my self there were so many early morning hours that i was like him.Most likely if this game was real and what happened in it was the same i would most likely end up doing it the way he is solo.

1. Heathcliff most prob got his guild to him get his shield like ***
2. Dont think i like his guilds point system either ! He wanted all of the money from the dual with Kirito to go to guild bank (and Heathcliffs next weapon!).. and not split at event.

Curious to see if Heathcliff turns out to be a botter/cheater or some kind of game mod/GM later on. It's based on MMO's and they're bound to toss cheaters in at some point! That red scene when Kirito says "huh?" during the duel seems like he noticed something wasn't right.

It was almost like he was able to slow down the game and block the attacks. Maybe it's a special ability like how you can slow down time in skyrim to fire your bow. Or maybe like you said he's all hax.
