Post-cruor nerf it's much more difficult for the "everyman" to make tons of gil. Obviously 11m isn't a lot for the people who had the time to sit there and amass billions of gil from blinkers or those with luck when it comes to synthing desirable -1s.

Fishing, Dynamis, and Salvage are where most people's money comes from however, and that isn't an immense income especially if you're splitting the Dyna/Salvage gains with others.

Not to mention the multitude of under cutters on heavy plates and dyna currency.

Even if a 50-60M weapon is in your budget I wouldn't prioritize a utility weapon before some of the more beneficial hexed gear or upgrade items for 99 weapons. Especially if you have a multitude of jobs to keep at par.

My advice for Eike is ride Seigan until damage drops then switch to sword for Requiescat. It's entirely doable. Just hope Uptala puts out eventually. The challenge is keeping your healer from reaching enmity cap.

My inner jew erupts forth once I dip below 10m, but I never go very far above 20 because anywhere greater than or equal to 10,000,001g I get careless as *** with my money

You're never gonna buy any good Hexed-1 gear with 20m.

I have 3 pieces for my main, 2 for one of my mules, and I'm looking to buy one for my other mule.

Lucky for me I'm not interested in buying hexed gear nor do I care about yours

If I was worried about it I'd make it myself over time or sell what I make for the pieces that I want instead of spending time making 60~200m for one piece of armor instead of doing things I care about doing

I just don't have the motivation to make gil just for the sake of having lots of it. If I wanna buy something expensive I gotta borrow gil from a friend so I feel obligated to get off my *** and start paying them back! It's a weird system we got going.

I need lots of motivation too or I just dont bother. I also hold certain things in higher regard than hexed gear, like building Seha's Annihilator and my Amano/Masamune.

I've also got a pathological need to invest in things, like selling a friend 10k alex instead of 15k for his Ryu in exchange for 3k dyna currency later!

I'm perfectly fine with being acceptably mediocre to low end top end for as long as it takes me to become the pokemon master. Look at Ash, he's yet to master anything and the show's been going on for 15 years.

From what I see from most of the people who have it, Muramasemaru is full-time worthy due to the fact it glows 'n stuff. Yup.

Don't be like that. Sing along with me.

"To catch them is my real test. To train them is my..."

...

Well actually, that part probably wouldn't apply to this game.

Hmm..

I don't even have access to FFXI right now and I wouldn't.

I think I said that right.
