You get more raw healing from using potency head over duration head, yeah? Is this just a case of preference or is my math wrong? Assuming it’s preference, I guess it just comes down to wasted health from ticks and just wanting to recast it less?

I use that set but with Bunghole and emo head and get about 10 minutes with perpetuance and around 80/85 a tick. If you've got Musa, it would be your call. I personally would rather have an OP tick for 10 minutes+ rather than dropping that 15% potency for 10% duration.

Is it just the barspells that benefit from hitting 500 enhancing skill? Everything else Sch can cast should be capped much lower than that, right?

AF2+3 (or relic +3) head has MBD II +4 with MAB and macc as well, might beat merlinic for some.

What about Maxentius+Ammurapi vs Musa+Khonsu for enfeebles? I did this weekend to test how much Magic Burst Damage you get from the club for a 2-step (which appears to be 5) and Max is stronger without complimentary weather, Akademos otherwise. It was pretty close though.
Last time I tested helix the raetic+1 would always beat akademos but it was by 1% (100-300 dmgish)

Does Twilight Cape have a current use outside of weather-boosted cures?

Is it useable while you work on getting something better? sure Is Tupsimati worth getting? Was thinking of making another mythic, but not sure whether it be Tupsimati or Death Penalty.

DP is OP. Tupsimati is a show piece for a career SCH. Aside from a couple high m.acc sets, I don't know if it's BiS for anything anymore.

Akademos is still a beast of a staff considered how extremely avaible it is. Correct, I mean telchine body with +10 enh duration is going to be in your inventory anyway, if your any type of half *** mage. I mean you use that on every enhancing spell you would cast. If you want to push SCH regen duration to the max, then youll need the relic+3 body

I guess it's a matter of personal preference between potency versus duration, but I was thinking maybe using +3 regen Telchine body. Do you use duration on all your regen Telchine pieces?

What's the order of operations? are arts, gifts and/or gear listed as duration +x seconds before or after gear with %s? (60+arts+job points+gear#)*gear%*augment%*perpetuance=total duration (60+48+60+15)*1.32*1.3*2.55=800.7714 (60+48+60+27)*1.20*1.4*2.55=835.38 vs. (60+arts+job points)*gear%*augment%*perpetuance+gear#=total duration (60+48+60)*1.32*1.3*2.55+15=750.1344 (60+48+60)*1.20*1.4*2.55+27=746.712 although if it's me, I'd probably swap back & head for the potency.
