Scholar is most certainly the best low maintenance 2box for trash content due to perpetuance/regen.

I should have been more clear; I meant serious uses (places where sch would have a nigh unreplaceable niche). Being the best at things that don't really matter too much kind of makes Scholar the Dancer of the Mage world. (appropriately so)
I paid of my schultz academy student loans by dancing.

I got a free ride from Chinese RMT.

(I was nice to the RMT cleavers on Bismarck and they'd let me leech free of charge.

I don't normally upload pics either so if I did this wrong then I'm sorry. 600 on Genbu doesn't surprise me as long as you get a mcrit. I could equip maniacus sash, a'as circlet, and choleric earring to hit a higher number, but of course the damage wouldn't be as high on avg. Both of these numbers are with no shattersoul for the mdef down. I don't feel like getting a Genbu pop to actually test for you guys. I am of course /rdm in these so he'd be missing the MAB II trait, along with the banish spells to show my own. As WHM with afflatus misery I hit 5k holy 2s all the time. I agree with most others that there are better uses of strategems than trying to use immanence or staying in Light Arts only, but I don't think you can just discount the abilities for being useless.
Here are those pictures :)

Hey thanks Eugene! I wish A'as circlet didn't suck so much. I didn't know that Chelona + 1 was so good, now I need to get that hat for whm and blu. I definitely can't justify that slot on SCH.

I was talking with warusha today in ls/tells, and did some more extensive math for helixs. From my updated OP:

Helix - Helices have a lower base damage than normal nukes And benefit highly from int.
This is the best set on standard targets with 60-100int. Af3+2 hat is worse than nares even w/ ebul, twilight isn't better than romanus, aife's shoes are worse than af3+2. Interestingly, against a target with 110int(Dint of ~90 or less) Chatoyant becomes better than ToM dmg staves before counting accuracy.

New nuking set! Well...pieces!

Previous:

Taru SCH/RDM fully merited INT
INT:+43 MAB:+52
No Ebullience, with Klimaform Single Weather: Thunder V ~3163 vs INT100 Mob

New:

Taru SCH/RDM fully merited INT
INT:+31 MAB:+61
No Ebullience, with Klimaform Single Weather: Thunder V ~3231 vs INT100 Mob

~68 / 2.14% Damage Increase!

Swap Nares Cap with AF3+2 and Ebullience bumps it up to:
Previous: ~3891
New: ~3976
~85 / 2.20% Damage Increase!

Not spectacular but still nice! :D

I think savant's body might be better. I seem to recall I ran the numbers on spurrina (15mab) and savant's won. My computer a'sploded(if you can't pronounce this, you never watched rugrats and I feel sorry for you) and until my new parts get here in 2-3 days I can't even get online unless i'm stealing a friend's computer or at the school library. That said I will be updating sets with math and stuff as soon as I get my computer back up and running!

Likely the only merit of the body will be a possible +2 refresh until a piece of gear emerges that marginally increases mcrit damage.

Excellent guide! Thanks for the effort!

From what I understand, every piece of gear that enhances a SCH stratagem or other JA, must be worn during the landing of the spell to actually have any effect, correct?

To the best of my knowledge, yes.

Updated sets I believe with the few new pieces. I'll go back if I missed any.

I was going to write up strats on meeble burrows but so far they are so simple it would be insulting to write out how to do them on sch.

SCH stun

I would think witful belt would be better no? Losing 2 m.acc isn't that huge a deal but the potential quick cast + the haste on it to begin with would win, ya? Also, 1 prolix ring, ya (w/e that fast cast ring is)?

I personally think a set with more haste would be preferable. I don't have horrible acc issues using my set focusing on recast, and if I'm plugging the numbers in right that set compared to mine has over twice the recast.

Love the rng thing. I will try it out maybe it will close light.

But my question is this. As we have a the Neo Nysle nuking head.

Is the sch head still better to nuke in if you use JA's or with the neo nysle head be better even without the added bonuses we would get from using the hat?

So basicly do we use the neo nysle head when nuking with no JA's and use sch af3+2 head when using JA's to nuke or kaustra?

Dark Magic Skill > Magic Accuracy

Although they both give 15, you'd want skill

Well sorry to bring that topic again but I always had this doubt because there are friends who tell me...

Magic acc > skill

skill > magicc acc

skill = magic acc

So.... And I think it's not easy to test...

So i think i'll go with =
