and to sell There's also just the completionist reason, just to get the win so you can say you have done it. Synthetic atma (i.e. "Achievements"), title, etc. I'm happy I was able to get it when it was open on Phoenix months ago just to check off that box on my FFXI career.

Don't think there's anything to tell you when an area is definitely going to be taken off the beastmen.

[1481 days between previous and next post]Necro bump on here. I've currently been trying to sway the regions over on Asura this week. Have Beaucy and Xarc in Sandy rule atm and the Castle is almost about 1/2 way. If anyone else is bored during the day and feels like warping out there to kill the beastmen here and there it would be appreciated. I've only had a couple hours a day to be on so anyone willing to help get it into Sandy's rule for this Sunday would be great!

have a few dozen players or alts trade hundreds of crystals to the conquest Outpost NPC. Not sure how much it would take but it works
Conquest is present, they're doing campaign which is in the past. And your best to wait for a campaign fiesta... campaign lol. When that campaign happens fiat lux is automatically open for everyone.

Thank you very much! Yup, I tried the same thing you're trying a couple years ago cause I wanted Nightfall and the nocturnus armor for lockstyle. Found out it was too much work to do the old fashioned way and that campaign fiesta is a thing lol. Can't Sagasinger (pulse weapon) drop from Fiat Lux during Campaign Fiesta? Not 100% sure on that. Maybe it's ultra rare like the 10,000 pieces or maybe I'm trippin'.

According to the POL website, it's "Campaign Festa" not "Fiesta".

The campaign is Open (and I have medal of altana), no Fiat Lux on Offensive Ops... am i missing something or is this wrong and we actually DO need to still have control of the area during campaign? I was still under the impression that you need to actually have access to it to do it. even under campaign.
I remember years ago a guy on Asura made a post here urging people to get control for the upcoming campaign. It worked, so we had control at that time... maybe people were thinking that it was automatically up for campaign when it was done prior?
Are you Medal of Altana? Cause Fiat Lux is unlocked at Medal of Altana.
Edit: Having said that, I'm not seeing Splitting Heirs either so, yeah, looks like you probably need the zone. I'll have to rank up a couple times to get back to medal to check Fiat. If I had to guess... the unlocks is it unlocks for all nations instead of just the one that controls Throne Room but someone needs to control the zone. |
