The order in which you subtract is going to determine whether your dINT is negative or not, which is something of an important detail.

What that dude means is that to reach the damage cap, D, for Blizzard 4 you need a dINT of about 800.

If you subtract your INT from the mobs your dINT is going to be negative nuking a level 1 Mandy, So, I think it makes sense the other way, no?

The formula is meant for calculating damage on stuff that matters, not a level 0 mob.
