Whelp until they ever fix my account with click and buy I will never purchase anything besides Crysta for my FFXI account from SE. I guess I could call click and buy again, but after the first few times I just gave up....SE just use paypal or skrill, click and buy is the fail :(

I love that they have to make every single step of any process painful and frustrating. I've bought nearly every piece of FFXI merch that has been released because I'm a gigantic *** ***(I even imported ***like the 10th anniversary DVD for the goddamn Mandragora club) and I've used the SE Shop for things for years but I closed my Clickandbuy account when they finally let people use plastic to pay for XI/XIV instead of the convoluted ***there.

Boy was I in for a treat when I tried to give SE $120 of my money today! Since I closed my CnB account, it's going to take 3 days for them to "verify" me again and just through the first day of orders they're already "sold out" of the preorder for the Mandragora cushion and I can already see the writing on the wall for the keychains and the goblin cushion.

Is it really that hard to just let me use my goddamned credit card like a real online store(like they did for years on the SE Shop I might add)?

well, I was going to spend the some odd 23$ plus 10$ shipping but alas...where did I put my debit card?

First, you have to sign up for a Click and buy account. Then you wait 3 days for them to charge random amounts to your card so they can verify you, all the while hoping your bank doesn't automatically reject them because CnB is a scam. After that, you attempt to purchase the items you want from their store but can't because all of the items you want are sold out. Finally, you go on a world ending rampage and murder innocent children.

That's the long and short of it.

If it makes you feel better, it's the same price in Japan. Though, shipping may be cheaper there. :x

Can you even buy the pens alone? They wouldn't let me checkout with less than $23, and the pens are $22.99.

Yeah, I thought that $23 minimum thing was bs.

If you look at the close up pictures of those pens, they look like some BICs taken out of a $5 bag from Staples with a crab and goblin topper on them. Or maybe stolen from a Hotel counter.

Dollar store pens have been tested and shown to be the best quality you can get... This was a couple years ago so I don't have a link or anything sorry XD

I've never had one of those things die on me, I've always lost them or lent them to someone then didn't get it back.

I mean sure, maybe if they didn't look like they were stolen from a telling counter I'd pay $23 for the novelty, but they look ***.
