How does the ToM tp bonus gun compare to 85 arma on last stand? The damage multiplier on last stand doesn't increase much per 100 tp so it seems the extra base dmg and 10 agi on arma should win.
WS Base Damage = floor(( Weapon Base Damage + (Ammo Damage) + fSTR(2) + WSC ) * fTP) Akatos: DMG 53 TP bonus+100 Akatos: DMG 55 Weapon skill dmg+10% Armageddon 85: DMG 61 AGI+10 Assuming 200 AGI, fSTR2 16, TP 100, have gorget/belt, pDIF at 1: Akatos1: (53+89+16+170)x4.65=1525 Akatos2: (55+89+16+170)x4.4=1452 1452+145=1597 Armageddon 85: (61+89+16+178)x4.4=1513 Seems Akatos is superior? WS dmg+10%>TP bonus btw.
Using this asumptions only Arma 99 beats 10%WSd

Hmmm just double checked, even lv 95 arma doesn't beat straight WS dmg+10%. Making WS dmg+10% gun 2nd best last stand gun in this game I guess?

Just did some quick math, new Donderbuss(+1) should beat lv 99 arma for last stand on top of having much higher acc.

The good news for us cor though is that Armageddon will always be relevant due to Wildfire!

Literally even a lv 85 Armageddon is now more relevant than a 99 Ragnarok!
Relatively speaking!

stupid question but where does NQ jacket now stand for wf/ls?

i had 2 TBody Abj. and nq'd one for the lulz and regen/idle set (mule had a shitton of nq's anyway) and augmented it now with ws dmg+4%...would tessera still win over the nq with augment or no? :S

I didn't think about it, Midrium is actually better, bar the accuracy.

as for the nq jacket I'll do the math when I'm back from lunch.

As a saio owner i'm now bummed out I dont have a Kheper body abj lol. Fairly certain NQ aug'd kheper is a sidegrade option to saio or might even edge it out.
Boils down to mainly 1agi and 5mab versus 4% wsd

I'd still aug an nq Kheper at least for a last stand ws bodypiece, stacked with the 10% ws damage gun and midrium bullet thats going to put up some nice numbers.... thats completely ignoring the ridiculous new guns tho

Alright difference on WF between saio and 4% kheper is very minuscule.

For LS it's still very good for the big accuracy bonus which is very much needed in any new content for us.

Are we confirmed that we do need that much acc for new content? (Not like I'd have time to do new content anyways.....)

For naakuals it depends on colonization rate, but I've seen delve reports of dds with A+ skill missing with accuracy food. I see cor having huge problems <_<

Yeah when delve NMs rage nobody can really hit them anymore. Melees are doing /thf and sa'ing to make sure they hit.

Pondering Cor/Sam with tact+wizz roll and switching to Leaden Salute instead of wildfire after they rage starts making sense because Leaden can never miss even tho the damage is bad compared to wf.

Wildfire can't miss either, both can get resisted though. Rdm and sch may be the best subs here.

I'm wondering if store tp trait and meditate from /sam is a better option because you want more ws frequency and more tp per hit along with racc+stp gear since you have to push the delve NMs down in like 15mins or less ideally.
As it gets harder to hit, each hit you land (and tp gained ) gets more precious.

+24MAB (/rdm)
vs
self firestorm (/sch) - should have a sch to accession+perp Adloquium+Firestorm cor party, so this feels like the worst sub option.
vs
15% more tp per shot/QD and 5 extra ws's per 15mins from meditates if you /sam

If you *really* cant get help making an armageddon but have the gil to blow on woe coins you might as well.
Wildfire is kind of a game changer.

April 29 update

Whirlpool mask: Exenterator and odd WF alternative(can't believe you'd have this and not Thaumas).

Nahtirah trousers: godly pants. Top WF, Last Stand, Exenterator and shooting if don't need accuracy, and on top of that got snapshot too!

Asperity necklace: interesting for melee tp.

Ej necklace(+1): best racc neck for shooting.

Pya'ekue belt: opens options for melee tp.

I left out for now the earring set Dudgeon+Heartseeker since we need to know how much DW it gives, although it's hard that it'll replace brutal I think.

Left out for now guns as well, I'll add later, but both Surefire Arquebus and Donderbuss(+1) blow any other option for Last Stand out of the water. Don't throw away your Armageddon though cause that will always be invaluable thanks to WF!(on this we're lucky, while other jobs rage at new weapons, we can enjoy them without losing the usefulness of our toy <3)

Also I added Midrium bullet to the ideal QD set since that's now superior to Omphalos if the magic accuracy is not required.

This should be everything.

Edit: also left out Manibohzo set since that can be augmented and we're yet to see the possible pools.

Alright, added Donderbuss and Surefire Arquebus to gun section. I don't know the exact augment pool for the gun, however I think it's the common 3 paths with respectively ratk, racc and evasion focus. If someone knows better please let me know.

As far as Manibozho set I think nothing is worth much for us, as far as I've seen for augments so far. The gloves have very nice stats, but they don't match Sigyn awesomeness. Boots are a very good melee tp piece though.

Cor is excellent for the Delve T5 Kurma fight (one of the NMs you need to kill for the KI if you want access to buy the Surefire Arquebus with plasm).

Quickly firing off thundershot while its executing a tp move like headbutt/turtlestomp, theres a window of increased magic damage so you get some nice QD spikes like this with an Armageddon+Midrium bullet:

Have fun kiting him (nearby hotspring pool works nice) since you'll eventually peel hate off everyone else and be doing a bulk of the damage once it rages.

macc seems to be relevant for these NMs also, for the turtle I stopped seeing bad resists when I made sure I had some macc gear like arvina ringlet and nav frac +2 instead of saio and mab only gear.

I need to go point grind now for the Surefire Arquebus, hoping macc/mab are part of the augments for it.

I don't feel like giving a final judgement on this yet as I've only fought 3 nms so far(sob), and they seemed pretty varied so stating a specific sub for the event in general is a bit difficult.

All mobs fought with hunter roll and sushi, gear with 23 marks skill and 107 ranged accuracy without accounting for infinite agi:

Eft(inside fracture): accuracy and damage were both fine. Would chose blu, or better sch since nobody thinks of the poor cor.

Outside instead I've fought these two:

Craklaw: floored accuracy. At the 50th bullet shot in the river I just gave up. Would go with something for QD only, so blm/rdm.

Orobon: evasive yes, but not impossible like the craklaw. During this fight I've started considering ranger coming back as a possible good sub. 22 racc from sub alone and Sharpshot, and Scavenge which is now awesome...I'm not going to call it the best sub for the event yet, but I'm seriously considering it pending more fights to test other nms evasiveness.

I would definitely go /rdm or /blm for Kurma , I went /sch and it was a waste. I havent found any NM where wildfire does amazing damage yet. Cor parties and QD+random deal spam seems to be our best gimmick so far on these.

If I could get a scholar to thunder storm me i'd totally make a thunder obi just for that turtle.

I'm dusting my COR off soon, since it seems very useful for new content. Should I make an Arma 90, or just roll with a Surefire Arquebus? Does Wildfire offset the dmg bonus you'd get with Last Stands using the Delve gun? Does anyone know if the Delve gun has any MAB augment options for Leaden Salute?

WF is still relevant, I had pretty ***acc with sushi, hunters roll and lots of racc in new content depending on target, WF can't miss and pretty easy to use compare with Last Stand.

Get both, both are fairly easy to get.

There is no mab path for augments on Surefire, but it's still very good LS gun and fairly easy to get. But like Afania said, Armageddon will always be relevant, so you should still make that a priority.

Corsairs should really consider being prepared to whip out Requiescat in Delve

Tears straight through damage-resistance mobs and doesn't have the problem of Wildfire's shaky magic accuracy versus some of these enemies (or worrying about their rotating elemental weaknesses etc)

Since you're going to be in the DD party you're going to have DD buffs anyway

I don't even bother with Last stand in Delve, even with food, buffs and racc gear it misses 99% of the time, and when it does land it does ***damage.

Think I`ll try that next time I do delve on cor. /rng doesn't seem like it's helping at all so I may as well poke things for TP instead.

How many Merits in requiescat do you have?

O.O I thought req gonna suck on those NMs due to attack penalty, that's pretty interesting....

Although I have 5/5 merit in it, not enough inv for COR req build :(
