but yea Proth, you'll probably enjoy PvP after your first playthrough. Just the game has been out over a year now and people will twink kill you for lol's.
You should play offline until you're ready for PvP, because there are some NPC's that won't appear unless you're in human form. They will invade your game and are part of the lore/story.

Haven't played much after I killed the puppy. Was in the Depths farming humanity off rats last I played.

I just managed to kill the demon outside the blacksmith. I entered the forest and was killing the trees, then I heard a noise and freaked the hell out holding my shield up. Looked around and found that the door had a fog up and I couldn't get past it. He was about to run at me but I was in a corner ;;;;; so he dropped some stuff and started pointing at it. I thought it was a trick so I started looking through my menu to try and banish them :| I eventually picked it up and he gave me some humanity and titanite stuff. I still didn't want to fight so he was just... messing with me I guess. I didn't want to fight him though >.> I just went off fighting stuff and got near the door to the forest guardians before he backstabbed me and killed me instantly. lol@ two best friends in the background >_>
